View Full Version : Charisma based psionics? [3.5]

I was thinking up a way to build from the Gray Jester (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=9557.msg323212#msg323212) that would be effective, efficient, powerful and creepy.

I thought about using psionics to debuff (so that sucking the fun out of people is easier!), the other option being a sorcerer of course. But psionics just seemed more appropriate. Spellcasting/psionics are not a must if someone knows a good debuffer class (other than warlock.. I hate warlock).

I need to know firstly is there a base class or prestige psionic class (I always prefer prestige classes!) that is based entirely from Charisma?

Edit: Answering my own questions here: Wilder (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/classes/wilder.htm) works well enough.

Now I have the Quori Nightmare class but cannot meet the racial requirements, plus it is nightmare themed, though that can work as well. Is there any way to qualify other than getting the GM to hand-wave the racial requirement?

Something else similar? Remember that creepy is the main thematic focus here. Homebrew is fine.

Lastly does anyone know of any template that would make me a clockwork creature instead of flesh and blood? I was thinking an effigy (complete Arcane) would work but it has no rules for playing an effigy.

EDIT: Green Ronin Advanced Bestiary has a perfect clockwork template playable with an LA which is awesome! -4 CHA is a pain though.
So now looking for a template to increase CHA...

EDIT: Magic-blooded works. Need more CHA!! lol.
Herp-derp Phrenic Creature (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/monsters/phrenicCreature.htm) is all I need. So only classes to go now!
