I am looking at taking a single level of wizard as the 16th level of a build, and Familiar and Scribe Scroll really won't help me. Is there a good list of all the wizard ACFs? If not, where should I look besides PH2, Unearthed arcana and complete mage?

The full list is here http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?PHPSESSID=leln9fterbo6lrur12l3jqt345&topic=7908

For you in particular Combat wizard to trade Scribe scroll for a fighter bonus feat (generally improved initiative) and then familiar for immediate magic (which requires you to be specialised - Conjuration is the best choice). Are most likely going to be best choices.

My suggestion is the Alternate Class Feature from the Player's Handbook 2. Be a Conjuration specialist and then you ge the ability to teleport 10 feet as an immediate action a number of times per day equal to your Intelligence modifier. It's extremely useful for getting out of grapple or avoiding bad stuff. My old DM would practically pull his hair out when I would use it to avoid his well placed trap or spell.

I am always an advocate for Eidetic Spellcaster if it's an option. Not needing a spellbook raises your cool factor infinitely.

Also makes your life a whole lot easier, removing both the familiar and spellbook-protection. Plus giving the DM more freedom to throw you in jail and generally take your stuff away.

Unless it cross applies to other classes, Eidetic spellcaster really doesn't help me much. Character is currently Cloistered cleric1/Swordsage 4/Chameleon 10, then Wizard 1. So unless Eidetic spellcaster lets me dump my already existing and very expensive spellbook, it is no good.

The relevant houserule which explains why wizard 1 helps me is that DM ruled that extra spell slot applies to all casting progressions, and that it can be advanced by Planar Touchstone. And that once you have a spell slot of a level, you also get relevant bonus spells of that level. So he will be a Wizard 1 with level 6 and level 7 spellslots.

I probably will take the fighter bonus feat (for martial study: White Raven, qualifying him for WRT from an item).

Unfortunately, while Abrupt Jaunt is indeed awesome, it looks like I will need to go Abjurer (That way, with existing spellbook, I can fill all my level 6 and 7 spell slots with Superior Resistance and Extended Superior Resistance, nice non level dependent spells, which will then free up spell slots for other casters in the party.)

I would rule it does, but I am a fairly lenient GM, until you start with metamagic shenanigans.
