Does the Savage Progressions' Ghost Template give the base creature the incorporeal subtype? The SRD and Monster Manual both list the normal Ghost Template as changing the base type to Undead (Incorporeal), but Savage Progressions instead states that the base creature's type changes to Undead (augmented humanoid). This occurs whether or not the Ghost was Humanoid in life. Am I reading this wrong, could someone explain why there's a difference here?

Additionally, are there any (relatively) easy ways of gaining the Incorporeal subtype? I've been Template digging and haven't found much. Thanks in advance!

Savage Species uses 3.0 monsters. You would need to update the Ghost template to 3.5.

Savage Progressions isn't Savage Species, I thought. Am I doing it wrong?

Oh, derp.

I guess the writers just forgot about incorporeality.

I'm trying to find a RAW way to qualify for Empowered Ability Damage without taking a hideous LA. I was hoping that Ghost 1 would work and that I was just reading it wrong. Shoot.
