Animal Companion Build Help

I'm working on a 6th level animal companion based character.

Here's what i have so far:
Wood elf
(non-spellcasting) Ranger5/Beastmaster1
Str18, Dex18, Con17, Int8, Wis10, Cha10
Feats:Skill Focus(handle animal),Natural Bond,Savage Empathy
Favored Enemy:Magical Beast, Vermin
Combat Style:Archery
Animal Companion:Dire Bat
Gear:+1 Keen Composite(+4) Longbow, 20 silver arrows, Masterwork Silver Scimitar, Mithral Chain Shirt, Everburning Torch, Tanglefoot Bag, Exotic Military Saddle, Spider-eater Egg, misc

I would like your input on what i could change-specifically feats, race, and stats (i have 81 points to spread about as i please)

Give the animal companion vow of poverty (helps you with outfitting it though you may have to get exalted companion)
P.S. Flehraker is da bomb as an animal companion

Your stats seem obscenely good... is that pointbuy?

There are some cool variant rangers like the one that give you wildshape and the one that give you faster spell progression which would be cool.

If you want an epic animal companion go 5 paladin/ 1 beastmaster/ and the rest halfling outrider
get the feat I think devoted tracker and you get to combine paladin mount and animal companion.
