So, last night I was drifting through the art forum and came upon a simple thread. The thread asked how do you import an online picture on to Inkscape.
Inkscape? What, Praytell is Inkscape?
a quick google search, followed by a couple tutorials, and then a late night playing around and this is came to life:

In the Navy, we don't have a lot of space to work with for art, and this program allows me to work in full scale color, is freesource, and manages beautiful results... even if it did make my prior knowledge of photoshop stab me in the face a few times.
Just wanted to extend a thanks to you all as well as the developers of Inkscape.
