Hey All:

I am running a combat-focused game based around a martial arts tournament. In this game, characters must play a combat class with special abilities. Here is a list that we have so far:

Crusader
Warblade
Swordsage
Duskblade
Psychic Warrior
Psychic Rogue

We are assuming that the Crusader, Warblade, and Swordsage are effectively replacements for the paladin, fighter and monk. However, we want to include options for playing martial versions of the Ranger and Rogue. Does anything like this exist in homebrew?

For Ranger, I say use the Martial Ranger alternate class feature from Complete Warrior, which trades the spells for feats. Actually, considering you have Duskblade, Psi Warrior, and Crusader, a nature gish would be awesome

Ranger with combat capacity errywhere. Lacks spells and spell-completion, but should fit for a martial combatant.

Or swift-hunter scout/ranger.
