View Full Version : Any creatures with non-ability scores in all but Wis and Cha?

So, Wisdom and Charisma are as far as I know the only two ability scores that cannot be nulled out. Undead and Constructs have no Constitution, mindless creatures of various types have no Intelligence, incorporeal creatures have no Strength, and immobile creatures have no Dexterity (there are very few of these, for obvious reasons; Formian queens, however, are a Core example).

So I'm curious: are there any existing creatures that combine all these non-abilities into one immobile, (presumably) incorporeal undead/construct body?

If nothing exists I might make some homebrew just for grins. Probably a pure-spellcasting/SLA automaton designed for defense of a fixed area, or optionally with a [greater] teleport SLA at will (or any equivalent spell or power for movement without a Dex score).

This has "campaign hook" written all over it. Godspeed, Tuggyne. Godspeed!

I remember something similar to this, the end result included the Ghost Brute template, so there's a starting point.

The Shrieker fungus (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/fungus.htm) has only a Con Wis and Cha score, slap some kind of undead template on it and you're good to go, I suggest Ghost (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/ghost.htm) as it actually makes it useful (gives it a fly speed, some attacks and special abilities.)

Psicrystals don't have strength, dexterity, or constitution score. A psicrystal that got its mind wiped somehow could have no intelligence score but still have wisdom and charisma.
