Hello, Playground.

I have recently been very interested in the pathfinder psionic class, the Vitalist, which is a healing class in the sense that they are quirky perfectionists, loathe to let even a single hit point go to waste. I plan to roleplay my character as a infinitely paranoid individual, who'll go into a rage if a single thing does not fit into existence exactly as it should.
Obviously, I'll also refluff all his powers names, so that Share Pain becomes, for example, "Si Vales Valeo Pain Transferal Procedure" and so fourth.

To the point: Vitalists prominent class feature allows them to pass along any kind of hit point gain at all not caused by ability scores, including fast healing. Therefore, I want long duration fast healing. Preferably long enough to keep us going all day. The question becomes: how do I get it? Spell? Power? Race? Template? Magic Item?

Druid Spell
Blessing of the Salamander
Comes with Fast Healing 5 and Fire Resist 20
I think it's range is 'self' though, so the Druid can use it on self or on pet via Spell Link.
As of yet, I haven't seen much of anything with fast healing on it other than creatures with fast healing as part of their templates. But then again, I haven't really had a look around.
Had a search on the SRD yet?

How long does it need to last? There's loads of options for temporary FH.

Infernal healing is on a bunch of spell lists. Could UMD a wand of it. First level spell, fast healing 1, makes you detect as evil.

A good old wand of vigor or lesser vigor and you are set.

Vigor and Lesser Vigor are in Pathfinder? Which book? How the heck did I miss that?

They are called Infernal Healing now.

That particular name was my choice more for it being Latin for, loosely translated, "You are fine, I am fine", Latin being the language of choice for perfectionist fusspots, but sure.

Anyway, I was obviously not clear enough, so here goes clarification:
I want long duration fast heal, permanent if possible. I have seen a CR 2 goblin with the permanent style fast heal on the pfsrd, but that was an unique monster, so probably not available as a choice. An excellent example of appropriate healing would be the 3.5 Dragon Shaman fast heal, as a Vitalist would merely need to redirect that healing to make sure that everyone but a single member in the party was healed for full health, the last one for half.

Fast Healing is one of those mechanics in Pathfinders that players can't too easily get their hands on; I mean, think how neglected the poor Cleric would be if everyone in the party had fast healing and simply needed to sit around for a few minutes after combat. :smallsigh:

Most simple ways to get Fast Healing are expensive, such as Ring of Regeneration (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/rings/ring-of-regeneration) or even a pearly white spindle ioun stone. (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/h-l/ioun-stones/pearly-white-spindle-ioun-stone)

Other Fast Healing sources don't last long; Several spells, Inquisitor Healing Judgement, the Red Mantis Assassin's (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/prestige-classes/other-paizo/n-r/red-mantis-assassin) Red Shroud and the Spontaneous Healing (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/alchemist/discoveries/paizo---alchemist-discoveries/spontaneous-healing-ex) Alchemist discovery.

I actually know only one true source of 'Permanent' Fast Healing, and that is only possible as a level 11 Synthesist with the Fast Healing Evolution (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/summoner/eidolons)

Yeah! Think of how useless he would feel! think of how he will miss being pestered to use his interesting spells to increase an arbitrary number from 10 to 60, rather than something boring, like, say, conjuring and angel from the upper planes themselves.

Actually, with a Vitalist on the team, any Summoner would do, not just a Synthesist. I'm glad to have found this option, thought, since it and the Ring of Regeneration are the only things that come close.

I just don't get it: why does this guy (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/unique-monsters/cr-2/koruvus) get fast healing, a level 2 Goblin, but PC's have to have 11 Summoner levels plus either an ACF or Vitalist levels?

Fast healing is a much less powerful ability for NPCs than it is for PCs, basically.

PF did go a little overboard in reducing ways for PCs to get FH, though. It's not like it's regeneration, guys!

Yeah, Pazio treat Goblins like WotC treated 3.5 Kobolds.

...This was probably a great and enlightening comment, but since I am very much a novice when it comes to 3.5, I don't really know what you are talking about, other than some comment i read a while back about elderly dragon kobolds being bad for the lactose intolerant...

And Pun-Pun, obviously.

a 2-level dip into psion (egoist) could give you an unlimited fast healing, though it's would pretty much require you to devote all your actions into it. Not much good in combat, but excellent out of it.
