View Full Version : Optimize my WF Artificer

I hope you guys can supply options for optimizing/pimping my
re-built WF Artificer for our D&D3.5e Eberron campaign.

Up to 6th lvl I was dabbling with his Options as a crossbow
wielding Adamantine armoured crafter staying back from the
front line as a Bufficer and maybe working towards a
jack-of-all-trades with homonculi and wands but now the focus
has changed as the main group Fighters/Tanks have dropped out
and our Mage is getting it together such that Blastificer is
not the Art's best role.

The DM has given him a 'Holy' weapon in the form of a
warforged gauntlet flail and it makes sense (with his
Infusion buffs) to turn the WF into the party tank.

My build so far is as follows (inc. all 3 WF substitute
levels):

STR14* Dex12 Con14 Int16 Wiz6 Cha14 (* = crafted Girdle
of Ogre STR)
AC 22 (10+8+2shield+1Dex+1RingoProt.)
Fort7, Ref4, Will4 HP47
Melee+6, Ranged+5, Grapple+6
UMD is 19 (with a +5Item)
Uses the +1 Holy weapon and Rpt. Hvy Xbow (soon to be
enhanced)
Feats are: Adam. body, Rapid Infusion, Extra artisan, Craft
Wpn Familiar (the WF gauntlet weapon), Craft Construct + the
normal Artificer craft feats. He also gets Infuse Self and
Tools of War

Plan for future is to maybe dabble with slam or shield bash
attacks, craft an (enhanced) Iron Defender for combat support
(need Improve Homonculus feat) and enhance WF body through
crafting to push combat totals.

GM is allowing all core books + Eberron books only for
options.

(Rapid Infusion seemed the best feat choice considering the
restriction of definitely getting Craft Construct at 6th + I
want to keep the adamantine armour even tho others usually
dump it for another option)

Any tweaks you can suggest?
