Hey playgrounders, I'm rolling my first Archivist. Human lvl 8, would like to focus more on support than offensive as the other players are geared for nothing but fighting. I just don't know what feats to grab (maybe knowledge devotion?) and I can't seem to find an Archivit handbook anywhere. Really any help building my character would help. Anything SRD goes (except psionic). Stats are:

Str 13
Dex 15
Con 14
Int 17
Wis 17
Cha 11

Also, does anyone know of a way for him to learn Invisibility?

First the handbook http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=185.0 second invisibility is on the bard spell list so the divine bard has it so you have access to it third here's a simple build Archivist 10/sacread exorcist 1/Contemplative 9 hello domains and divine metamagic!

Sure, I have an archivist statted out for group support...

And you can get Invisibility from the most common divine class EVER. Adept.

You should talk to your DM to see how common / expensive scrolls from obscure divine options are...

I made a spreadsheet, in which the DM could copy and paste scroll rarity multipliers for the price of scrolls...

Browse the different tabs to see different sheets for different games...

Also use this to search for spell info...

Any of these flavors would be fine:

-Dulce de Leche
-That Lemon one with the icing
-The shortbread and fudge ones
-The coconut ones

Find a cleric with the Travel Domain?

Well, there are LOTS of ways for Archivists to fly.

I'd prefer a Persistent Spell Swift Fly or just a plain old Alter Self into an Avariel from Divine Bard for Flight.

You want improved initiative.

Augment Summoning - you can learn both summon monster and summon nature's ally, get more out of both. Requires spell focus (conjuration), but that isn't a horrible feat on it's own merits.
archivist of nature - stylish is not the strongest. Apply your lore class feature to more creature types. This also goes for the other archivist specific feats.
Extend spell - not the absolute best metamagic feat, but it's the most universally useful. Almost any spellcaster (minus mailman sorcs) will appreciate the simple efficacy of this feat. Especially good if you have a reducer, since this is only a +1, becomes free very easily.

Extend is best used on low level spells, which is a cheap rod.

Depending on class it's useful on some higher level stuff too, and given archivists expansive access they have things it's good on. Even at that though you aren't likely to use it more than 3 times a day, so I suppose that upgrading the rod later is still of some utility over having the feat. The point about augment summoning remains though.
