Hello there!
So, we're beginning a new FR campaign set in a Midnight-ish setting, that is to say, low-magic, magic users are actively hunted, the world is ruled by evil etc.
We're starting at level 3 as prisoners (so no fancy items), 32pts build, all books allowed (except for Dragon Magazine and online stuff), low XP progression (I'd say lv 6-8 max at the end of the campaign).
We currently got a Swordsage, a warlock and a warrior, so I'd assume that playing a bard with a bit of healing wouldn't hurt.
I thought about an Inspire Awe bard. With Dreadful Wrath, Haunting Melody and other fear spells, it would be easy to make our foes cowering. With Healing hymn and healing spells it should be enough to keep the group up.
But then, I'm still unsure about the char points distribution, level progression, potential PrC and the effectiveness of a character like this.
Any advices?
