I recently found an old 1st printing (1976) of the 'Eldritch Wizardry' D&D supplement, and a copy of 'The Book of Demons' (1977) by Phil Edgren, that had belonged to my uncle.

I'll cut to the chase here - does anyone have any idea how much they are worth? I did a little research, and I've seen Eldritch Wizardry being sold for anything from about 45 to 75 dollars, though I'm beginning to suspect that nobody wants the Book of Demons =p

Thanks in advance.

And, just to make things clear, I am not offering to sell these here, as that is against the forum rules. I'm just seeing if anyone can help pricecheck.

It's a rough question. Some will depend upon condition... if he bagged it and kept it in great shape all these years, it could be worth quite a bit.

I'd look up some comic condition guides and figure out a "standard grade" for it...

That will at least give you a starting place for value and condition.

For sale in that range does not anyone is buying in that range. $15 a piece is realistic.

Fixed.

Righto, thanks for the advice. Sadly the quality of the books isn't fantastic. I'll probably take them to my local gaming store and ask them what they think.

The Acaeum (http://www.acaeum.com/) has a subforum for assessing the value of items. They might be able to help you.
