A couple of days ago I saw this picture and thought that I want a pair of these:

Yesterday I saw a store that had no-brand chucks for 17€ and I bought a pair in my size in pristine white. There is already no lables or printing on the shoes, so there's nothing I would have to remove before starting with the process. I dyed a pair of genuine chucks some years ago and the thread for the stitching is made of a material that doesn't take the dye and neither does the rubber, so I just need to get some orange dye and throw it into a bucket with the shoes. That will also dye the inside of the shoes, but nobody will see that anyway.
Now the more difficult part is to get the white printing on the outside. If I dye the shoes, then just taping it off won't work, and I don't think I could do such an accurate job at taping. Which means I'll have to add another coating of paint on top of that. Making the stencils for it shouldn't be too difficult for me.
Now the big question is, whate type of paint to use? It needs to be something that preferedly stands up to machine washing without getting damaged. It also would have to be thick enough to not let the orange cloth shine through and also not "bleed out" under the stencils. Any recommendation what type of paint I should get?

I would probably use some screen printing ink. Here's (http://www.instructables.com/id/Photo-emulsion-Screen-Printing/) an instructable on photo-emulsion screen printing, since it's not exactly the same as painting over a stencil.
