I need some help building my wizard.

So far:
3-5 levels of focused specialist conjurer
- Rapid summoning variant (abrupt jaunt is banned)
- I would only take levels 4 and 5 to get a bonus feat
3-4 levels of Master Specialist
- I would only take level 4 if I really wanted the minor esoterica of + level to HP of summoned critters

Feats:
Spell Focus (Conj), Extend Spell, Meta magic school focus(conj), Sculpt Spell

Augment summoning(?) to take advantage of the rapid summoning?

We will probably only get to 10-13th level, what other prestige classes would you recommend? what other feats?

We have access to core, plus all the complete xxx books as well as PHB2 and DMG2.

so basically, I am looking at 6th level (3 focused specialist, 3 master specialist), and no ideas of what to do after that.

What kind of wizard build are you planning? Summoner or god-wizard?

Assuming you're making a summoner (rapid summoning and augment summoning aren't much useful otherwise), then the malconvoker prestige class is pretty decent. You lose a caster level, but you gain plenty of great class features to make up for it.

Alienist is another decent summoning themed prestige class, but it makes your character a bit insane.

There's a feat in complete mage called cloudy conjuration, which gives your summoning spells the additional affect of battlefield control.

I'd consider the divination acf rather than level 5 for the bonus feat. Make sure to read the errata -- it only works on divinations in your spellbook.

Summoner? No, no, no. I wish to be God! The rapid summoning is just because I cannot take abrupt jaunt. So summoning is secondary.

Honestly I've never been a fan of summoning. Just means you have more things to do on your turn that can quickly slow the game to a crawl unless you are very well prepared.

I always get improved familiar feat. Imps/quasits can use items or even UMD if you can get the skill. The 5th level spell Imbue familiar with spell ability basically gives your familiar a ton of spells to cast for you...so quickened spells. End up with 5 spells max 5th level on your familiar. Plus familiar can aid you on just about any skill you ever use. That's my shpeel on keeping your familiar.

Fastspinner from comp arcane has some very interesting abilities.
Mindbender 1 from same book gives you telepathy
Archmage is amazingly good if you get that high level

Mage of the Arcane order gives you a spell pool that you can use to cast spells from your banned school and gives some bonus feats. Very nice for a focused specialist.
