Hey all,

Mostly a mental exercise, but how would you go about making a build to get as many skill points as possible, and also as many selectable bonus feats as possible, packed into a 12 level build?

Off the top of my head, the Feat Rogue variant and Human Paragon jump to mind.

All WotC books are open, no Dragon Mag, no homebrew. The only two stipulations I'll make are:

No Chaos Shuffle for the feats.
No extreme (Pun Pun-level) cheese.

Human Martial Rogue with Vow of Poverty, taking Nymph's Kiss as a bonus exalted feat. Start from there.

First level Swordsage gets (6+ int)x6 which beats the rogues. Though I never looked to see if that was changed.

It wasn't, but it's one of those things that the vast majority of people accept yes, it's written that way in the book, but that's clearly not the intention. It's an extremely common houserule to fix that.

There's always Flaws. And Taint. They're both variants, though.

The Chameleon prestige class from Races of Destiny gives a free-floating feat as a class feature. So you could pick any one feat that you qualify for each day.

I don't really know of more ways to get skill points, so I'll focus on feats.
