Which would you pick?

Well, considering that most of my high level characters prestige into Slayer at some point, and get Always On Mind Blank as a class feature, I think I'll take the Gold and Will Saves :smallamused:

And hell, I could probably pay the Artificer to make me an item of Mind Blank with the 80,000gp if I wanted. Best of both worlds.

But, if you're asking for advice, and you don't have an Artificer, take the Mind Blank item. Mind Blank is pretty swag.

I'd take the Item of Mind Blank. Most of the effects that force a will save are mind-affecting, so you're covered. Flat-out immunity is better than +14.

I'd take the Mind Blank item, assuming it is always on. Also, take a look at its caster level.

Mind Blank. Will save bonuses don't save you against Discern Location and other nasty no-save things.

That being said, +14 is a really big and useful bonus to have.

I'd pick the +14 item and gold. 80,000 is enough to buy the Service of a Psion to make you able to manifest it yourself with Psychic Chirurgery.
