According to the PFSRD, which I'm pretty sure uses the same system, it's the Relevant Ability Modifier x Manifester Level x 1/2.

Well, if you look at the srd theres a formula for each level gain. Its .5 per modifier per level rounded down I think. So, every 2nd level should be equal to the modifier, and blah blah blah math. Does that help you though?
