initiate of mystra question

Quick question, does the initiate of mystra work with arcane spells? got a person running a wiz/cleric and wants to know if he can still use arcane spells in anti-magic fields.

I don't have my books in front of me but last time I check it did. That's why there's joke about wizards doing it through various ways, such as alternate spellsource from a dragon magazine.
