Manifester Level Without A Class?

I was looking at the SRD, and one of the feats I saw, Wild Talent, gave you a2 PP and said you were now a psionic charactor. However, it doesn't say you gain a manifestor level. How could I get a ML without taking a psionic class? I'm trying to get a power or two through feats alone.

The Hidden Talent power in the Expanded Psionics Handbook is just Wild Talent plus a first-level power. It still doesn't let you actually count as having psionic manifestor levels, and FYI even if it did, the Expanded Knowledge feat would do nothing for you if you don't have a way to get higher than first-level powers already.

A psionic race can have a manifester level without a psionic class in the same way that certain races provide caster levels without a class.
