[3.P] Combustion Man Build

I come before you this day with a request for a build. Can you make Combustion Man from Avatar: The Last Airbender? All books are allowed, and I would like the build to be the lowest level possible while still capturing both his signature traits (the sparky sparky boom and metal limbs) and his raw power.

Well, it certainly isn't perfect, but you could use a Sorcerer with Ocular Spell feat. Load up scorching ray in one eyeball and fireball in the other eyeball. (fluff it into loading into combustion man's third eye if you want)

Load up on metamagics if you want, then when combustion man comes around he can fire his ray of energy that explodes upon impact. The only problems are that he has to spend quite a bit of time (2 full rounds) reloading the ocular spells. You can use metamagic reducers like Practical and Easy Metamagic, or Arcane Thesis: Scorching Ray/Fireball to give him some extra kick.

You can alleviate some of the delay between shots with items or spells that manipulate the action economy such as Belt of Battle or the Celerity line.

Edit: Oops, Ocular spell turns fireball into a single-target ray. So this doesn't work.

Alright, let's see what one can do...

(Note - this works ONLY as an NPC, due to the fact that the Half-Golem template (MM2) is LA: -)

Half-Iron Golem Human Ardent 10 (CR13).

Ardent, rather than Psion because Half-golem carries a pretty hefty Int penalty.

Grab the Energy mantle (for things like Push, Burst and Bolt) and the feat Psionic Energy Admixture (Dragon Magazine #287) for fire/sonic powers.

Ardent 10 is for the Dominant Ideal ACF so you can retain your psionic focus while using metapsionic feats on your domain powers.

How's that look? If you want to go to a higher ECL, dip ranger (for Sparky Boom Boom Man's tracking abilities and finish off the build with levels in Slayer.
