Splash Weapons Query (Assistance Required)

Can anyone give me the lowdown on using splash weapons in Pathfinder?
One of my PC's just drafted up an alchemist, I'd like to know the ins and outs of it before the next session.

Anything else I should be looking to prevent, such as overpowering, loopholes etc, would be much appreciated. He will more than likely look to prestige in the master chymist.

Not aware of anything beyond the spalsh weapon rules. Point blank shot can help. Getting INT to damage with all splash weapons as an alchemist is nice, makes those alchemists fires and acid flasks pack a bit more punch, especially with cognatogen boosting them.

Me and my DM found that some feats in 3.5 don't work well with the Alchemist because they weren't made to be used with a Splash Weapon powerful as the bomb. I speak to you Shaped Splash from Eberron.

Beyond that, the mechanics are pretty simple and not that much powerful. Great battlefield control, no overpowered.

The Alchemist got 2 main way to go (more in each) : bomb thrower or mutagen user (melee alchemist). In the bomb thrower, you can go damage or crowd control (using smoke bomb, etc.).
