I requested some build advice a few weeks back and ended up making a daring outlaw (ECL3 rogue 2/swash 1, Dark human)

I still have some money to spare from my starting 3rd level WBL and have some ideas in mind, but wondered what else could be done.

Right now I'm equipped with:
Mithral chain shirt
MW STR +1 composite longbow
MW rapier
MW handaxe

And some mundane gear (ammo, potions belt, backpack, tools, etc) and potions.

I still have 1400 gold left.

Things I'm considering are:

Acrobat boots (900)
Healing belt (750)
least crystals of return (300 each)
Amber amulet of vermin (varies)
Anklets of translocation (1400)

Any other suggestions?

Get the anklets.
I'd drop the bow, get a few non-mw throwing daggers instead and use the money to buy a chronocharm of the horizon walker.

Probably a wise decision, though I am concerned of the lack of range on the daggers, even if I expect to be firing from within SA distance a lot.

Dark human? As in "hide in plain sight" Dark template?

Ditch the bow. It's a luxury at best.

Yes, dark template.

Ok, so got anklet, and ditched the bow. Now what? Chronocharm of the horizon walker? It seems a little superfluous for a character with 50' movement and the anklets.

The anklets are only 2/day. The chronocharm is backup.

With +11 to my tumble check I should be able to move around anyway. Or just hide.

But not full attack (granted that's less important now when you don't get extra attacks).

True, but I am likely to get that kind of cash when the time comes. I'll probably just stock up un potions then.

Seeing your weapon selection, I thought you used TWF. If you don't, then the chronocharm is really less important.

Ask your DM if you can put the Sword of Subtlety's enchantment on a rapier, also I suggest Bracers of Murder from Drow of the Underdark when you have the money, they are well worth it.

Ah, forgot about that. Yes he's TWF.

I'd still have a missile weapon: Slings are cheap.

I'd get the chronocharm then
