Should be a fairly short discussion.

Is there a complete list of Official flaws with nothing Homebrew out there?

my googlefu is failing me at the moment.

The only Flaws that are OGL are in Unearthed Arcana.

The rest are in Dragon magazine, which is not OGL and thus would be violating the Copyrighted Content rules to post or link to. Sorry.:smallannoyed:

Glyphstone: because I have never actually understood this rule properly before, I will take this as a chance to ask the question: in cases like this are we allowed to post the Dragons that have the material in them, or not even that?

Is it possible that there is a list of the Dragon magazines with flaws in them?

If that too is copyrighted, then so be it, I'll find them the hard way... with trips to the game stores and friends houses...

Dragon 324 has some class based flaws (druid, bard, paladin) in it, but that issue is the only one of my paltry collection that I know has flaws.

Thanks gorfnab! That'll make finding them much easier. Wonder how many of them I have in that box of holding...

Giving a list is certainly not going to violate anyone's copyright as long as the entire text is not given. The OP is only asking for a list.

Please note that, while each of these Dragon articles is aimed at a specific class, many of the flaws are applicable to other classes as well.

Some of these flaws... now I see why some people don't trust Dragon material. They're straight-up easy to mitigate/ignore.

Well, as usual, the DM can just say no.
Unlike traits, flaws are entirely negative in their impact on a character's capabilities. If that doesn't hold true, the DM should disallow the flaw.

In my group we use a homebrewed list of Flaws, they're funnier than the official ones. Ours are more about customization than mechanical defects...

My Psion has : Albino, Atheist, Powerful enemy. It looks weird, rages when hearing about gods (as in, calling CoDzillas "stupidly dangerous misguiding morons or crooks" to their faces in their temples during services), and is considered a national danger in a continent.
We find that more fun to play than "Penalty to Init or AC"...

One that almost everyone uses in that campaign is "Spirit companion". It gives powers, but the afflicted are routinely exiled from most lands, because magic is "regulated".

A list of the where the flaws are is 100% fine. Actually posting or linking to the text of the flaws themselves is not.

There are always flaws in everything, sometimes the flaw is the lack of flaws.
