For a homebrew campaign, the main group of Wizards has created a type of guardian made by binding an elemental to a permanent corporeal form (must be inanimate) via a ritual (Elementals are usually incorporeal spirits able to manifest physically only for short periods of time).
My question here is: What is the best creature type for these guys? Should they be Outsiders, as Elementals? Or perhaps Constructs, more akin to animated objects? Or another creature type entirely?
On a secondary note, physical abilities will be more based off the statue or w/e the elemental is bound to, with special abilities and adjustments dependent on the type and power of the elemental bound to it.
