A while back, Wizards published a collection of famous books of the Forgotten Realms, complete with histories, plot hooks, and unique spells.
The problem is, now I can't find them on the Wizards site. Will somebody with Mighty Google-fu (or marve just more knowledge of their site layout) help me?
My first attempt (http://www.wizards.com/DnD/Article.aspx?x=dnd/fr/welcome)
I'm not sure which books you are looking for ?
Is this (http://www.candlekeep.com/bookshelf/products/218287200.htm)? or this (http://issuu.com/misantropia/docs/d20---wotc---forgotten-realms---d-d3.5---underdark) any use ?
Ed: I've just found this portal (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/splash1.asp?x=fr/splash,1), which may be of more use ?
Ed II: Actually a lot of the links in the above portal site are dead :smallsigh:
A quick search of the old internet via the wayback portal showed no results. It seems like this stuff is well named.

It wasn't a published book, but web content. I recall a book from Tem-et-nu's church, and one which required the use of Turn Undead to decode, and one by a halfling speed freak which had a spell granting extra AoO.
I just ran across them again a couple months ago, so I doubt they've been deleted. GRRR!

Perhaps this (http://www.seankreynolds.com/rpgfiles/forgottenrealms/forgottenrealms.html)could be of help?
