Non-bard spells for bard

I was thinking about making the most of my UMD skill as a bard. What are some good spells for a bard that are NOT on the bard spell list? Assume UMD is high enough to use any scroll, wand, or other item. I'd prefer to stay away from custom items (and thus arbitrarily-high CL scrolls etc :smalltongue:) for now.
