Can someone explain this to me?

I recently took notice of a book called "Bastion Press: Arms and Armor" and decided to take a look at it. Noticing some cool stuff, I found something called the Mail of the Knuk which was created by a race called the Knuk. Feeling curious, I decided to google it and found...nothing. Can someone please explain the Knuk; who are they, what do they look like, etc.?

If you are wondering what the Knuk are, this is an independent sourcebook made by a third party publisher. Basically anything they put in it will be unrelated to D&D at large. I would not be surprised if the Knuk are something they just made up for the book, and that is the only mention of them you'll find anywhere.

I think the version of the book I was looking at was 3.0, not 3.5.

Yes. Oathbound is a campaign setting also published by Bastion Press. That's probably where the Knuk come from.

It's quite difficult to find, but I tracked it down to another company who bought it and has some more info on their website (http://www.epidemicbooks.com/Oathbound.aspx).
