OK, a thread here made me really interested in trying a Sorcerer who never casts his spells or spends his slots, instead relying on Reserve feats (and wands/scrolls/the like). The idea is that this character is afraid of spending his spell slots and becoming defenseless (traumatized or something), so she tries her best to get by without them. I might multiclass into Rogue, dunno.
I'm considering playing this as a replacement for my current character, so I need a level 9 or 10 build (I figure my character's arc will be dealt with by then). Does this seem doable?
I'm thinking a Stalwart Battle Sorcerer is the best option here, since I'm actually losing nothing. Minor Shapeshift and Summon Elemental are obvious choices. We have banned Polymorph in this game, so I'd have to use trollshape or somehting similar to trigger Minor Shapeshift.
I'm also considering Blade of Force, but the only real benefit is the Ghost Touch-lite property. Born Aloft sounds cool. I really dunno.
Elemental bloodline makes the most sense, so I think I'd go with it.
