I was about to write your top 10 favorite pre-made campaigns or something of the sort, but... let's keep the wording as above.
The few times I've played and DMed, it's all been homebrew. In the near future I'll be playing in a pre-made campaign though.
I'm interested in looking at good pre-made campaigns not only for ideas, but because everything is planned out. It seems when I homebrew something, it's too linear, while looking at Expedition to Castle Ravenloft, the players can do all sorts of things, and that's how D&D should be, I think. Perhaps this just shows a lack of creativity on my part.
In particular, do any pre-made campaigns stick out as being very rich? I mean... there are lots of buildings you can go to, each is described, the people are described and even have stats, etc. etc.
