I've seen a number of people talk about the "Flaz Gaz Heat Ray", which apparently was some outrageous deus ex machina at the end of a story by some guy named Lionel Fanthorpe (who wrote under various aliases). The problem is, none of them actually say the name of the story it was used in. Anyone know?
