This touch does 1d4 damage per two levels (max 5d4). Normally this spell does force damage, however if the foe this spell hits has an energy type it is weak to, this spell is always considered that type of energy. If a foe has more than one weakness type, choose one type. If this spell does damage to a foe with a weakness energy type, it gains that energy descriptor.

You focus your power through the pearl in your hand and fire a pearlescent bolt of light at a foe. The bolt strikes unerringly, even if the target is in melee combat or has less than total cover or total concealment, and does 1d4 damage. Specific parts of a creature can’t be singled out. Inanimate objects are not damaged by the spell. Normally this spell does force damage, however if the foe this spell hits has an energy type it is weak to, this spell is always considered that type of energy. If a foe has more than one weakness type, choose one type. If this spell does damage to a foe with a weakness energy type, it gains that energy descriptor.

For every two caster levels beyond 1st, you gain an additional bolt—two at 3rd level, three at 5th, four at 7th, and the maximum of five bolts at 9th level or higher. If you shoot multiple bolts, you can have them strike a single creature or several creatures. A single bolt can strike only one creature. You must designate targets before you check for spell resistance or roll damage.

If you attempt to send the ball through a narrow passage, such as through an arrow slit, you must “hit” the opening with a ranged touch attack, or else the ball strikes the barrier and detonates prematurely. Normally this spell does force damage, however if any foe this spell hits has an energy type it is weak to, this spell is always considered that type of energy. If a foe has more than one weakness type, choose one type. If this spell does damage to a foe with a weakness energy type, it gains that energy descriptor (but only against that foe).

One side of the wall, selected by you, sends forth waves of light, dealing 4d4 points of damage to creatures within 10 feet and 2d4 points of damage to those past 10 feet but within 20 feet. The wall deals this damage when it appears and on your turn each round to all creatures in the area. In addition, the wall deals 6d4 points of damage +1 point of damage per caster level (maximum +20) to any creature passing through it.
