For reference, she's a seven year old dryad girl. Her "hair" is knee length weeping willow vines and her clothing is a tunic sized for an adult, but it makes a good improvised dress for her.

Couple of things that aren't immediately apparent. First, she's female. Second, she is a cyborg and her eyes, if you show want to show them in detail, are cybernetic.

That's not an inaccurate description. First real D&D character. Ninja/Master Thrower who managed to get a Cloak of Arachnida turned into a body-slot gi since I didn't wear armor, and then later got a Cloak of the Bat out of nowhere. Oh, and a Belt of Many Hidden Pockets (utility belt).

That plus an Aberrant Dragonmark that gave me Jump pretty much had me jumping all over Sharn's towers at will.

Wasn't my original intention, but ended up being the Eberron equivalent of Batman, Spider-Man, and Daredevil all rolled in one.

She is a drakaina - part serpent or dragon, part human. She is not fey, although she has a good rapport with them and is often confused for one of them. She is curious and generally benign and slow to anger, but if someone threatens her or someone she cares for she tends to fall into a red haze of brutality from which it can be difficult to draw her. She is graceful and dexterous, but doesn't quite know her own strength - or, rather, she doesn't quite understand how fragile others are.
She's half-mad, with a logic that doesn't always line up with that of others, and a morality system she's had to develop on her own; she tends to rely far more on emotion and gut instinct than on ethics or reason. She has some talent for magic, particularly shape-shifting, but far prefers to wade into combat with her own two hands and muscular tail.
Incidentally, she has a twin brother called Sinuous who is her opposite in nearly every way: where she is physical, he is magical; where she is emotional, he is logical. In D&D terms, she's Chaotic Good-leaning True Neutral, whereas he's Lawful Evil-leaning True Neutral. They have their disagreements, but care for one another deeply.

But, uh, she has no backstory, she's kind of just a DnD-fantasy character vaguely based on me if I were good at wushu plus had borderline super powers :smallredface: I could make up a story...

(Also I can claim no credit on the quality and amazing-ness of my avatar. I love the image. What you have done with her face, especially the eyes, is very cool and I love the look of her wrists. The mechanics there look incredible. And the background is very atmospheric. Well done. My only complaint is I wish a little less skin was shown, especially in the legs.

If you have time, could you add my avatar to the list? I assure you it's my own creation. (well, I suppose technically someone else did invent wizards, Melf's Acid Arrow, robes, and what not, but you get the idea). He's an older magician, his robe covered in mystic symbols around the edges (I actually can't remember which ones, feel free to use whatever), shooting Melf's Acid Arrow, and a staff similar to the ones used by Gandalf and Saruman in LOTR: wood, holding an orb in the top (preferably a glowing orb)

Yep the tattoos are only where you see them. Just note the the tattoos do curve to his sides on the body and face. The things on his back are two long swords one red and one gray. The things on his shoulders are part of the straps that keep the swords on his back. His hair should be a bit spikier than in my drawing. Its not obvious but his lower body has knight armor worn, I followed the OoTS way of putting sticks as legs. And he is 8 feet tall, if that helps.

Sorry I disappeared for so long. It was a horrible week. My computer broke twice. First the video card and then the hard drive and I lost like 70 hours of work. On top of redoing stuff for clients, I had to expend a lot of money to repair my computer and I lost like 2 days of work in the process.

I’m sorry for the rather iffy quality and dull poses; these were some of the first avatars I ever made. Further Description:
As quite clear, Kal is a tiefling, with dark skin and red hair cut short, with small, pointy horns on his forehead and long, flexible tail with a little arrowhead point on the end. Additionally, his eyes are solid orange, and glow slightly with otherworldly light, and he has traces of scales at his neck and shoulders. Being the grandson of a succubus, indeed, the self-proclaimed queen of all succubi, and Archdevil of Lust to boot, Kal is rather classically attractive, with high, prominent cheekbones, an inviting mouth with full lips, straight nose, and all those other features that make every lady in the vicinity (if they weren't all lesbians, that is - such is FFRP) want to jump his bones. On top of that, it goes without saying that he is, as a nutritionist would say, 'ripped as ****', and generally exudes an air of confidence and sexuality.

His clothes (when he bothers wearing any) tend to vary, of course, but his most usual casual outfit consits of a skin-tight black sleeveless top, black leather pants, and black leather boots. If he's feeling particularly flash, he brings his hat, which is a cavalier hat, made of (surprise surprise) black leather as well, but with an unusual touch - it's adorned with a flaming phoenix feather, which would make it rather handy if someone else forgets their cigarette lighter or something. The most unusual part of his outfit are his gauntlets, which go up nearly to the elbow, and which is where the 'steampunk' part of your theme comes in. They're constructed entirely out of black metal, and house a multitude of intricate clockwork mechanisms which make them highly versatile, allowing the gauntlets to change shape to a limited extent. For example, they have short claws that can spring forth at the fingertips to make them a useful slashing weapon, or can extend panels to make them a small improvised shield, or create stabbing blades at the wrist, or even retract away from the hands completely, allowing Kal to use his hand for more delicate things. Most importantly, they glow from within with hellfire, which Kal can manipulate or simply send lancing towards his foes.

Aside from his gauntlets, Kal also has a bunch of other weapons he carries on his person, namely a pair of small, single-bladed axes at his belt, for throwing, and an alarming multitude of knives and daggers, of various lengths for throwing and fighting scattered around his body, in places obvious and secret. If, for whatever reason, you decide to draw him shirtless and from the back, he has the following tattoo on his left shoulder-blade:
