The sound of squealing informants had become a constant recurrence in the park these past few nights. Dusk thought to himself, as he dropped the criminal.

"If I find out that's not true, I'm coming back for you Jeremy." The criminal scrambled to his feet, before running as fast as he could. Dusk waited a moment before making sure he was gone, before he slumped down by the pond.

Crime's getting worse in this city. I've had to become stronger to combat it, to find the source-but how soon before I become no better than them?

OOC: Your initiative is higher than mine-thus you get the first move, so draw the sixth card. Everything looks alright on my end. Also, there is no justifiable way for my character to know the Poke-language. His monsters though...

IC: Dusk frowned under his mask, as he watched the bubbles appear. He can't possibly mean to duel... Dusk thought to himself, but his own duel disk extended, to see his reaction. There are spirits from the shadow realm who duel this way, without physical cards. However, it doesn't seem hostile at all.

The Oshawott spat out another bubble...

Suddenly, one of the bubbles leave the cluster, briefly showing an image of a four-eyed fishman holding an unusual staff. The bubble pops and the Oshawott spat out another bubble, one that briefly shows an image of a mirror similar to the one on the Oshawott's shell. Three bubbles leave the cluster, one of them that of a mirror. The second bubble shows a smaller fishman, one not holding a staff or wearing much; that bubble is absorbed into the third; it pops, revealing a very large demon-like creature with four arms. One of the remaining three bubbles split in two, revealing the fishmen from before. The bubble whose image was unknown suddenly manifested as a strange eel that ate the bubbles depicting the fishmen.

Oh great, now I feel like a d***. Look at that face, it's like kicking a puppy. He thought with dismay. Then he looked at the large creature the 'puppy' had made with bubbles, and reconsidered his definition of adorable.

"I draw!"

"I flip Inzektor Centipede face-up. I then summon Plaguespreader Zombie to the field in attack mode." An armed insect themed superhero, and a rotting zombie seemed out partners, but they worked together well.

"Now what as I synchro summon. But first-Kamen Duel spirit mode!" Leaping into the air, Dusk became intangible, before merging with his Centipede. Then the centipede and the zombie became stars that formed a large robot.

"I am the pilot of this mecha, The Ally of Justice Catastor! Prepare for-wait since when has there been a translate button?" He tapped something within the machine. Suddenly, Oshawott and Dusk shared a common language.

"That was weird. Ok Catastor destroy his Gishki, super Entropy ball!" The machine gathered dark energy around itself, before blasting it at the monster opposing, destroying it immediately.


"With that I end my turn. Your move."

"Great, now I can't understand a word you say now."

The Oshawott raised its paw; moisture rose from the ground and formed two bubbles, one showing an image of the mirror from before, and another showing an image of the demon-like creature. The Oshawott sucked in the bubble that showed an image of the mirror, while the bubble that contained the creature returned to the cluster. One of the bubbles in the cluster came forth, popping and revealing a humanoid with an entire shark for a head!

(Use Aquamirror's other effect, shuffling it into my deck and putting Zealgigas back in my hand. Summon Gishki Abyss (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gishki_Abyss). You'll probably negate or destroy it, so please interrupt now.)

The Oshawott spits out another bubble; this time, it is one depicting a familiar image of a fishman holding a staff; however, that bubble soon pops, and the Oshawott spits out a bubble again, one depicting a familiar mirror. Two more bubbles come forth from the cluster, one revealing a familiar image of a lesser fishman, which is consumed into the other; it pops, revealing a very weird creature, the upper half seems to be a human, while the lower half resembles a lesser cosmic horror.

"Chain facedown, Lair Wire! I remove my Inzektor Centipede from the graveyard, and destroy your Evigishki Mind Augus!" A pit appeared under the Aqua monster, before a crash is heard as it turns back into shards.

"However, I believe you can still use his effect to shuffle cards from the graveyard, if you so choose."

[Okizruin]

The Oshawott nodded as moisture from the ground rose up and created five bubbles; one showed a weird magic item for sucking in water, another showed the eel from before, the third showing Dark Hole, and the last two revealing the fishmen from before. Moisture from the ground formed two more bubbles; showing Mind Augus and the mirror from before; the bubble with Mind Augus returned to the cluster while the Oshawott sucked in the bubble with the mirror. The shark-for-a-head humanoid lunged forward at Dusk; however, he only felt a splash of water rather than anything really painful. The Oshawott stopped, as if finished with its turn.

(I choose Salvage, Moray of Greed, Dark Hole, Gishki Shadow, and Vision Gishki. Activate Aquamirror, shuffling it back into my deck and returning Mind Augus to my hand. I attack directly with Abyss, then end my turn.)

"I remove Armageddon Knight from play. I then summon Inzektor Dragonfly from my hand. He then arms himself with the armaments of Inzektor Hornet. Or should I say, I arm myself."

As the purple red superhero appeared with Hornet's gun at his holster, Dusk once again merged with his monster.

"Now let's kick some butt. Hornet cannon barrage!" He fired the weapon, which shattered as it did so, disintegrating Gishki Abyss. (OOC: Discarded Hornet to destroy Gishki Abyss)

"Dragonfly Aroma signal go!" In a moment, a new centipede appeared on the field, armed again with hornet's gun.

"Now then, attack!"

OOC: That should deal 3100 points of damage. Also, since he's a monster again, he can understand you, but Dusk doesn't know that.

Dusk nodded softly. "That pain is a common occurence of duel spirit duels. I wasn't trying to hurt you, but it is a small side effect. I learnt this ability from a duel spirit, when I was trying to rescuse the monsters I now use as mecha from the hands of an evil scientist. Some spirits can do that instinctively, but it also is a danger to yourself if you push yourself too hard in the body." He paused for a moment.

"If you want, I could teach you. It might make communication easier for you with people. Although I'm busy most of the night, so it won't be for a while-that is unless you want to fight crime as my sidekick." He said with a small smile.


The Oshawott spat out another bubble... "Unfortunately, I must surrender as nothing in my hand is playable this turn, and I probably won't 'survive' another assult." Splash revealed the images on his bubbles... (You may look at Splash's hand now.)
Dusk whistled softly. "That is just bad luck." He said as he examined the hand of ritual monsters. "I mean you could have kept going, but you wouldn't have lasted more than a turn or two without anything better."


OOC: Good game. Do you want another round? Like we fastforward a week or so, and say "Alright, let's see how well you've mastered spirit form Splash?" kind of thing.

A few days later...
The superhero and the Oshawott were surrounded-on all sides were humans who had been mutated horrifically-some had multiple limbs, or armor plating. All were droning like zombies, but moved with the speed of Gazelles, and the ferocity of Tyranitars.

"Rwaarrgh! You cannot stem the spread of our infection! Our splendor shall spread to every nation!" The horrific voice that led the creatures came from the rafters. Glancing upwards, Dusk could only think, How could something that cute be so evil?

With quick reflexes, the humans infected with the Evilswarm virus were taken down. Dusk looked at the small dragon.

"Give up now! Your army is defeated, and don't even think of trying that virus on us. The Evilswarm virus only affects humans, and my armor filters it out." The small creature only laughed in a shrill voice.

"Oh your only part right. See normal amounts of the blessing can't affect Splash or myself-but this is no ordinary dose." The Axew pulled out a comically large syringe, and injected himself. Suddenly he changed, growing larger, glowing dark purple.

"WE ARE THE SWARM! WE ARE EVERYTHING!" The new creature roared. Dusk turned to his miniscule ally.

"I can't believe he learnt the Monster merge as well. Luckily, you are my best student-aka my only student. Merge with a Gishki and take him down-I'll work on spreading the cure." he paused before moving.

"And incase I don't make it, thanks for being my friend Splash. Now kick some draconic ass!"


OOC: Just some free form combat, enjoy it as you will. Finish the battle in your post, then we can do the celebratory battle. If you would prefer, you could say I got infected with left over virus, explaining our duel.

A bubble showed an image of a fishman holding a staff (Aka Gishki Shadow (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gishki_Shadow)) then was sucked into the mirror's bubble. "Now, by using Gishki Shadow as the Tribute, I shall call forth the reincarnation of the fallen Steelswarm leader! Come forth, Zeal Gigas!" Splash turned into water, which entered the mirror on Zeal Gigas without damaging it. Suddenly, an image of Splash appeared on the mirror, with the number 8000 floating above it. "Now I shall activate the effect of Zeal Gigas, paying 1000 Life Points! I shall draw a card..." The image of Splash grunted a little as the number turned to 7000 then spat out another bubble...

OOC: Actually, if you were allowed a destiny draw-i.e. instead of what you drew, you were allowed to pick and choose whatever you liked from your deck, this turn, do you think you could survive a few more turns? Note, if you pick a draw card, all the ones you pick up are also your choice. This lasts for one turn.

EDIT: Essentially, I don't like it when bad guys win, especially when they are me. My Psycho Shadows won very rarely, but thankfully they were beaten afterwards to free the losers.

IC: "Do you think your puny magic can actually-Aahh! The Brine! It hurts!" There is a loud ripping sound, like dry paper being torn. The diseased armor parts actually remove themselves from Dusk. This new form looks like a walking suit of armor. It turns and runs, it's face drawn into a voiceless scream.

Dusk looked up, before falling to his knees in pain.

"That hurt. Badly. I felt it's pain-he's not dead, but you've done something worse to him. You've made him inert, the virus can't infect anyone else besides the armor. I'll look for him in the morning. But now..." At this point, Dusk passed out.
