Have you heard about this new comic?
An issue 0 preview was apparently released on free comics day with the first issue due for release on the 1st of July and after listening to the Ideology of Madness comic podcast where they discussed this was wondering what everyone thought.
Apparently it was compared with the Legion of Superheroes especially as its set in the future and the group is celebrating its first century of existance with its newest team sent off to investigate an unexplained anomaly whereupon they lose contact with the entire team forcing a new team to be formed from rookies and former team members.
One of the restrictions they had was that no hero could serve more than 3 tours of five years, the team they sent seemed to consist of a magnetic manipulator, a powersuit, a psychic or mage, the 46th or so generation clone, what looked like a goliath with his brain in a jar and another energy manipulator who is said to be on his 2nd tour well from what little information I've heard.
The rest of the preview involved an earlier generation clone, an alien-looking super scientist ala Brainiac, the team's supervisor and former team leader who seems to be a speedster from initial impressions, a former team member whose also a mother, well I'll stop there.
