In empty space the Ambition-Class Cruiser Black Witch lies waiting for its crew to plot a warp course too it's next location, but when the order comes to begin preperations for translation into warp space the only response from the engine rooms is complete silence. Reports begin coming in that bulkheads have been sealed around the engines, and a revolt appears to be begining. Fortunatley the ships loyal Arms-Men report that they have captured one of the traitors in an attempt to posion one of the ships food stores, they currently have him under lock down in the brig awaiting orders from the Lady Captain.

The warrior known only as Alpharius stood in the trophy room. He gazed at the helm in his hands, reflected back was a face that was not his own. After gently putting the helmet back in place on his carefully maintained black Mark IV suit, he took time to admire the preserved specimen he stood in front of- a Xenos Screamer killer, forever frozen in time with a gaze of impotent rage.

Memories that were not his own rose unbidden- a Desperate struggle on the Ice against one of these creatures. The Ultramarine Veteran's hardest fight ... save of course his last.

So far Alpharius's mission had gone without a hitch- acquiring a high profile cover had been difficult, though the sort of thing the heroes of the Legion lived for. Fomenting cults amoungst the Ships crew had been child's play, almost a means of passing the time. He was confident only those he trusted were aware that he was not Watch-Captain Gaius Antonius Cicero. This mission would be his first as a solo operative, but would lead to greater things

Turning from the dead monstrosity, he strode to the nearby bridge, his silver left arm winking in the ships running lights. He arrived just in time to hear of the first potential chink in his plan being voxed. Perhaps Madam Captain, this situation warrants my intercession

The bridge hangs with tapestries of the ship's illustrious history in battle and exploring strange xeno worlds. With the hanging tapestries the bridge is dimly lit in deep purples and blues- the bright lights normally associated with a command deck sore on the Lady Captain's eyes.

Like a spider's web the consoles, cogitators and holo-tanks displaying the various ship functions spread out from the command throne that dominates the centre of the bridge. On the plinth, hunched over with her twisted spine sits the Lady Captain Xanthus, her carapace breastplate strapped on over the top of her old Imperial Navy uniform.

Looking around the bridge she inclined her head slightly at the most loyal of her bridge officers and rested her hand lightly on the hilt of the plasma pistol at her hip. Looking to the large glass circlular windown to her right she tapped lightly before activating the intercom that linked her with the nextowrk of aquatic tunnels that well named Nostromo dwelled in. "With my regrets Mistress Nostromo we shall have to postpone the jump." Before with a drop in tone to a whisper that no-one can else can hear. "It is time. she says with a cruel smile. The Nostromo name shall again become infamous when the truth emerges.

That done she returns to her command chair, leaing heavily on her Lady Captain's baton or rank before barking orders at her chief of flight operations. "Launch the CAP - Viper and Mamba squardons. Ready Chimera and Ghorgon bomber wings in case we are disturbed."

As the CAP launches out into the void, the sleek furies keeping the mighty Witch safe from harm she finally turns back to the Master of Arms. "I think it is time Master at Arms. Inform the Commandos to execute Order 66." Turning to the young sensor Lt at the Conn she quickly orders. "Patch me through to the rebels immediatly, I would hear their demands. If it is Enginseer Collidus he will get the reward that he richly deserves....

While waiting for the line to connected she looks up as the massive hulking marine enters the bridge. "Captain. Apparently enemies of our wonderful God Emperor are revolting on board my vessel. Your intereccsion would be most welcome. I have ordered the armsman to Order 66. Mayhaps you could help...

As she mentions the order she smiles a cruel smile. While she would have to sacrifice some on her vessel and the inevitable loss of the shrines it would be worth it in the end to be free of the noxious clutches of the Imperial shackles.

I may have misinterpreted whats happening.
I've taken it as the chaos rebellion just beginning and the loyal armsman trying to "help".

Order 66 should inform the true loyalist (to chaos...) armsman to begin moving into positions of power and all the clerics and the Imperial officers quietly murdered. The dregs of the crew will just do as they are told.

If I'm wron then please let me know and I'll change this 1st post

The bridge quickly becomes a hive of activity as the Captains orders are quickly excecuted with praticed discipline the sensor LT hands Astioth a data slate which tracks the progress of the Commando's as they excecute their operation before speaking "Ma'am, I have an open vox channel to the engine room"

You where spot on with what was happening, I would assume all the officers on your bridge are loyal to you and those who aren't will be dealt with the same way the clerics and other "loyalists" are, and yeah the dregs will do as their told because thats what they do

THe Lady Captain hunched over as she glanced at the two wings of the command chair. Feeling slightly tense, but reassured by the Deathwatch Marine on the bridge and the solid and very loyal guards on the doors.

Flicking on the vox first to the Warp Engines she can hear the faint crackle from the interference from the archaic technologies, hoping to hear the words of her Enginseer. "Master Collidus. You appear to have seized my engine room and all other sections from section 66 backwards. Please assure me that you will not do anything rash." She could feel a cold sweat, a strange unearthly musk generated by it, seeping from her pores. It all hinged on this, with her holding the bridge and Collidus the engines the ship would be hers and could be safely purged from all the traces of Imperial corruption.

While waiting for the Enginseer to respond she slipped on the headset for her personal microbead and hit the repsond button for Master Nostromo. "It has been set in motion Mistress Nostromo. Soon the Witch will be ours to do with as we please. Please make sure we remain stationary and that no foolish loyalist manages to seize helm control or anything like that." She smiles slightly, "Aside from that Haelena, consider where you wish us to go. Anywhere at all..."

The last man fell perhaps a half dozen steps short of the door, one leg taken off at the knee. The rebel forces had already tried to sabotage the food stores, but that had failed, so they had turned their attentions to the ship's Arboretum, ignorant of what resided there.

Nosoi hadnt learned this as the Captain had, nor, indeed had he been in much contact at all, perhaps she didnt trust him. But he hardly needed reason to kill mortals stalking unheralded into his domain, the work of the Arboretum was conducted by a fleet of servitors after all. It was on a night cycle at the moment, the lights dimmed to twinkling points of light overhead. The group split up upon entering, and it had been so very easy to stand perfectly still, his armour dead, as one of the bumbling half blind fools walked by, then in a instant awaken it, reach out and snap his neck between armoured thumb and forefinger.

After the first, he made no attempt at stealth, the hunt was on, and every step thundered on the deck plating, the perpetual susurrus of chains sliding over ceramite adding a chorus. His terminator's Auspex tracked the mortals as he slew each with precision shots from his Reaver Autocannon, there was no need to open the weapon up to full power, and he liked to think he could feel the weapons spirit growling in distaste at being used in so limited a way, even if it was against a handful of mortals. with every pull of the trigger loosing a pair of rounds, the mortals fell, and fell fast, many tried to hide or flee, but it was pointless, Death had come for them.

With the last down, but alive, and still clawing his way towards the door as if the long hallway somehow offered succor, Nosoi took his time in walking up to the man, each step sending a shudder through the floor that the mortal could doubtlessly feel, his green eye lenses shining in the gloom. The Marine casually brought his boot down on the man's buttocks, crushing his hips, and drew out his powersword, thumbing the activation rune and sending acid blue light crackling along its length. "Embrace Death mortal, or it will embrace you.." he intoned, the armour translating it into a fierce growl, as he held the sword high to see how the man would respond... but he only whimpered and tried to claw towards the door.

Shaking his head in digust, Nosoi swept the blade though the man, ending him, and then strode past his corpse, and out into the ship, time for some answers....

Alpharius recognised the Order as a Legion code word. Looking around the room he could see subtle signs that perhaps the loyalties of this bridge lay away from the throne- Devotional Icons "accidentally" inverted, tapestries arranged in a way that, to certain eyes, might be viewed as part of a ruin. Even amoungst the crews genetic makeup he could see changes beginning to blossom. At this stage only very minor- irises the wrong colour or fingers without nails. These would be soon to bloom into something greater.

He recognised some of his own cultists in positions of power and respect. He intoned Very well, In Hydra's name this order will succeed. Using a Legion shibboleth was a calcuated risk, those who would recognise it would know his true purpose. Things had the potential to get very nasty very quick, but in the unlikely event he was had misjudged the trader he could kill his way out of trouble. Probably.

How many do you calcuate hold the Brig and how well armed will they be?, This serpent can talk his way into their bosom, but when the metal hits the meat back up may be required. Perhaps if you wish to test the loyalty of any crew members, sending them with me as a guide may be of assistance.

He then transmitted his vox frequency to the Captain, via an ultra high frequency transmitter in his helmet.

In the Enginarium, all was Chaos.

Everything had been going perfectly to plan. The Captain's Plan...well....mostly the Captain's Plan. All of her requests and instructions were laid out perfectly. Everything she demanded had been executed in exacting detail. Most of the ship had been unaware of what went on in the lower holds....and in the senior crew's quarters. Unaware of the developing purpose of the [I]Witch[/], let alone what was occurring in the Enginarium.

Now the Enginarium was under siege. The fools were sealing the bulkheads and erecting barricades, so that they might defend against the coming retribution. Their defenses would not help them. This was his domain. Even now, the servitors went about their tasks....ready at his command. Even now he hangs...suspended from the support beams that line the ceiling....waiting, and watching. Ready.

"Master Collidus. You appear to have seized my engine room and all other sections from section 66 backwards. Please assure me that you will not do anything rash."

Well. That is unexpected. Activating the micro-bead in his armor, Hadron responds, "Captain...so good to hear your concern. Rest assured that it is not I that has seized the Enginarium, but a sizable number of your men. Nothing too alarming however. Some resistance of this type was expected after-all. What would you have of me my dear Captain?"

On the downside....they were going to need more crew after this. The upside being that there was now an abundance of raw materials to work with. The Gods are fickle, are they not?

"Ah Captain, the order has gone out? Splendid, splendid. Just space the lot of them that don't submit and be done with it," the Captain's headset broadcasts a strangely flanged, slightly whiny, high-pitched voice that bears affectations of a Segmentum Solar Deep Core accent. The sound of lapping fluid is also audible, and some kind of low croaking growl. "EVA-induced spacing worked for Admiral Marcotte when the twists took over the Lilith's spinal batteries and dorsal provision-clusters. If it worked on a battleship it's sure to work on...this," the voice somewhat contemptuous. "Or induce a local Gellar failure and subject them to Intrusion...I'll go ahead and plot an intrasystem hop just in case that seems like a reasonable option, Captain..." The voice grows quiet for several minutes, the audio feed conveying various sloshes, splashes, and the underlying hum of a powerful cogitator, but then there is a sudden shriek.

"I can...I can still see the...searing light of the Astronomicon, but..." an exasperated and not-altogether-human hiss. "If they control the genetorium, they could cast us adrift: no Warp capability, no Gellar Field at all...without power flow certainty, even a short-range Warp jump is like forcing a toddler to walk blindly into a fluke maw warren. Isn't it, my pet? Isn't it? Yessss, just like a sweet morsel wandering blind into your jaws, yes."

A long pause, with more sloshing. "I suppose that if you require it, my Ashsworn Venators will assist in retaking...whatever it is the, heh, rebels hold, the genetorium or whatnot. I need to see It again soon, you see, very soon, you know how the empyreal tides do so soothe me, Captain...and how things can get when I must pilot in an agitated state..."

The Captain smiles at the slightly Tinny words of her chief Enginseer. Ah My Dear Collidus. Please assist the armsman in retaking the lost parts of my vessel from the loyalist scum. I promise you now, you can feel free to experiment on any that you may encounter as long as we have our precious Witch back under our control.

She looks back at the hulking massive space marine. "Collidus. Our modified storm troopers are heading down to assist you alongside the Deathwatch marine. He's one of us never fear, please feel free to liase with each other to remove any remaining pockets of misguided fools. Order 66 has been been carried out successfully over the rest of our great vessel."

Mayhaps any survivors can experience the Geller field failure under controlled circumstances. It may prove an interesting experiment. You should speak to Enginseer Hadron about it."

At the navigator's last words the Captain grimaces. The navigator was a genius at navigating the warp tides but the pulsing tides of the warp did almost seem to respond to his moods and an agitated navigator made for a stormy journey. She looked down at her own body and the twisted spine, a memento of her own brush with the raw stuff of the warp. "Do not Worry Haelena, we shall subdue the fools soon and then we shall be off. Are you aware of any trading vessels or trade routes in the vicinity that we may begin to prey upon. We must begin to prepare the lovely Witch for a change of clothes.

Beneath his black and blue helmet, Alpharius smiled. He had been right

Leaving the bridge, he was met by a squad of the Witches elite commandoes who were hustling to meet him. This squad were dressed in sleek black bodygloves and Stormtrooper grade Carapace armour. He could see their weaponry, bulky combat shotguns and shock mauls, was clearly designed for close range ship based combat. No risk of piercing the hull and dooming everyone here.

Greetings Sire spoke the squad leader
We have been ordered to escort you to the throne worshipping idiots. His accent was strangely accented as if his mouth was no longer shaped for speech. Alpharius could see that here and there in the squad pieces of armour had been discarded to make room for swellings and changes in the flesh beneath. I wonder if all of the Ships armsmen are like this, These mutations look like they may develop into something...useful

Very well, Take me to the suspected location of their leaders. If we can cut ofd the head, the body will die. Showing this rebellion there is no hope is the swiftest and surest means of securing its end. I intend to kill it's leaders. Remember they have no notion of my true loyalties so I may be able to talk my way closer to my target. Keep your distance and don't strike till I give the order. Give away my cover and I will end you.

Alpharius and the squad quickly set off towards the ships engineering quarters to put down the Imperial rebellion.

Nosoi had corned one of the troopers in a dark corridor and had backed the man up against the wall, trapping him with the bulk of his terminator armour, green eyes glowering down at him as he waited for the reply. The man for his part was holding up remarkably well for being trapped between a terminator and a hard place.

For the uninitiated, the engineering decks are a mazelike, cavernous expanse of inexplicable sounds and dark corridors. Even those that have spent their lives there rarely stray from their designated paths, for fear of being lost forever. Each corridor is connected to countless warehouses and manufactorem...all the major organs that keep a vast Warp capable ship running.

It is in one of the warehouses that Hadron waits, hanging from the rafters. Slowly, he has been issuing binary commands to various servitors....sealing off bulkheads....sealing off sensitive rooms and upstart labs. Like pieces on a board they were being moved, herded, to the most idea positions for their eventual downfall. Places that will crush their spirits as well as their bodies. The most defensible seeming positions, all fortified by the ship's servitors.

Opening his micro-bead back to the Captain, Hadron relays the coordinates of the Imperials, "Captain if you could relay these coordinates to your chosen forces, these are the positions of the greatest strength. There are currently sizable strong-points at the Warp Engines, Gun Decks, Repairs Manufactorum, and the Plasma Reactors. It seems that they are setting up a small command section at the Engines. I will be dealing with the Plasma Core myself."

Not waiting for the Captain's response Hadron begins to make his way towards the Plasma Core. It was there that his most sensitive of projects had begun. There, that his legacy would begin.

The officer, freed from the imposing gaze of the Terminator, slowly slid to the floor, pale and shaking slightly, it took several moments for the man to realize he still held the vox, and press the stud, "He.. Hes on his way. Ma'am"

For his part, Nosoi made is way to towards the designated section, eventually arriving behind the ultramarine and his squad of mortals, he raised his free hand in greeting, "Hail cousin, what does your Codex say about Terminators in Space Hulks?", the speaker on his helm naturally reduced everything he said to a threatening growl, but Alpharius, being the savvy fellow he was, and probably much more used to detecting tone and inflection through power armour than any mortal, could probably detect a amused note to the words.

"Eventually this vessel must enter the immatireum, this geneatorium is one of the main supplies of energy for the geller-fields, I intend to destroy should this vessel translate. This will cause a gap in the geller field for a few moments while redundices are brought online, with luck this will cause irrepable damage to the ship. From high on the gangplanks, Hadron knew that the time was coming. It had been for a short while now. He was simply waiting for the right moment. The right distraction.

When Gaius arrives at the sealed doorway he knew his distraction had come. Making his way around one of the upper gangplanks, he positions himself just above the area that the servitors are working. These were his children. Someone was misusing his children. Spitting out a quick message in binary, he orders the servitors to continue what they're doing, but to keep the charges disarmed.

Quickly making his way once more across the gangplanks, he hesitates above the first firing position. A pity that we must waste these lives in something as petty as this. They would have made good slaves...now they'll simply be parts.

Casting off his Mechanicus robes, Hadron stands for a moment in all his Chaos given glory. A fusing of machine and flesh, it is impossible to tell where one ends and the other begins. His armor appears to have transposed itself on his skin. For a moment, he stretches his four arms to the ceiling....and unsheathes the two massive blades on his back. This was going to be enjoyable.

Dropping from the gangplank, he thumbs the activation studs on the warblades mid-air. The massive chainblades revving to life, flickering with lightning as the power field activates. Landing with a heavy thud, he turns to the armsmen in the firing position lets out Chaos riddled scream of binary and charges.

Engineer Raif lets out a binary screech of surprise as the weapons of Alpharius pierce his augmeted body, and he shudders violently as he is slowly carved away and drops slumped to the ground the last whirs of augmetics slowly dying giving a death rattle of its own.

The Sergant of the Arms Mens shots for his men to open fire, but before they can do so the Chief Enginseer falls upon a small group of them carving them down before they can bring their weapons to bear, and the combination of the Alpharius's surprise attack, and the apperance of the true form of Hadron proves to much for the mettle of the reaming Imperial's and the clatter of weapons hitting the ground and screams soon fills the geneatorium as the make a dash for the bulk head which had yet to fully close.

It's something akin to Winterscale but its along a less used route, perfect for a bit of piracy.

The mob pulled up short, spread out, milling as they sought somewhere else to flee, but this only made it easier for Nosoi to sweep the cannon across them, with fewer standing behind their fellows. The noise filled the room, and the carnage was total, bodies fell shredded by the gunfire, the less fortunate lived, only to pitch over screaming and thrashing as something within the rounds ate into their bodies, black veins radiating from the wounds, traces of green and brown flowing with their spilling blood. These too, died in moments.

His work done, he lowered the cannon and let its barrels spin down, before offering a nod towards the other Space Marine "I believe it says that Tactical Dreadnought Armour goes first into the mob of armed mutineers." he ground out, but again, that touch of humour. A joke?

Alpharius fluidly draws his bolt pistol as the armsmen turn to run barking of a few shots at their fleeing forms, before the big Terminator begins to mow them down with the reaper autocannon. He holsters the weapon and activates his vox The geneatorium has been secured Captain he motions to the Captains loyal troops There are explosives on the gangways, return them to the arms lockers.
The Alpha Legionaire walks towards Nosoi after giving his orders We have some examples to display, perhaps they will make a fine addition to the hull?

Grail is AFK until the 4th I'll run Alpharius until he gets back
Everyone gain 1 Corruption point, Tzzentch is pleased with the scheme to throw of the chains of the stagnant Imperium.
And the warp is unusually calm at the moment for the purposes of navigation, for some reason

At the news that the loyalists have been removed the Lady Captain breathes a sign of relief. Activating the vox casters that spread her word over the entire many kilometres of cruiser she announces the word of their success. "My Children and loyal crew. Today the black witch enters a new era. One unbound by petty laws or the restrictions from a dying corpse plugged into an archaic machine."

She pauses to survey the bridge, her hand sending a small coded message to Hadron to raise the geller fields and begin the warm-up of the unfathomable warp drives. The same message being coded to their aquatic navigator.

"Now to celebrate we hunt... Join in prayers that may guide our beautiful Lady Nostromo on her hunt of prey. Join in the service to Master Collidus who will activate the Witches engines and the technology that shield us from view."

She pauses once more for a sip of delicious amsec tainted with a hint of blood. "Mask the hull, prepare for silent running and begin warp translation. We hunt!"

Switching off from the general broadcast she also voxes the two marines, requesting their presence in her small ready room just off the bridge to find out their intentions, the teleportarium prepared lest she be wrong about their intentions.

"It sounds as if my favored pets are no longer needed in the holds..." the Navigator hisses, voice slightly upset. "But no matter. I can see the trail of these fools burning through the Empyrean. I shall lay in a course..." The sloshing begins again. "And then it shall be time to hunt and play! Ehehe! Their torment shall dirft through the Void for eternity!"

A few minutes pass by then: "Agh! It sears! The corpse-light of the center of the galaxy! My eyes! They ache with its bright glory! And yet...the light casts shadows, trails less traveled...Foul Paths, cast your cell doors open to me that I might walk these blasted, broken tracks, water them in the blood of fools and the faith of idiots! The Gate of Eternity opens and the universe beckons!"

Nosoi's turned his head towards the 'ultramarine' and inclined it; "If you like.... chains are more my preference." he answered laconically. Then the captain's voice sounded across the shipwide comms, and the marine listened as she gave her speech, a chuckle grating from him as she seemed to cast off the Emperor.

Turning, Nosoi gestured for the other to precede him "It seems the Lady Captain would like to see us. It wouldnt do, to delay, hm?" he added, then followed the other to her ready room, where, for a moment, he considered sitting on a couch.... but it wouldnt have taken his weight. So he simply stood in a corner and waited, like a statue.

Even as the crew busied preparing for silent running, silent stalking and the inevitable warp jump to begin the hunt the Lady Captain prepared herself in the cabin.

Marking out the rooms carefully she sat behind her large and expansive desk, bedecked with broken and corrupted Imperial regalia. Satisfied that the room stands ready and the red button on the underside of the desk is linked in with the teleportarium control she waits happily for the two marines to arrive.

At the door two of her guards politely ask for the guns of the two marines explaining politely that only swords or other melee weapons are allowed in her prescene when the ship is not at condition 1.

As the terminator and deathwatch marine arrive he motions and a winged cherubium, this one with a gargoyle's face and cloven hooves, floats down with crystal glasses offering them both a glass of expensive white liquor, both despoiled with a hint of human blood for that rosy glow. She waits patiently for them to remove their helms and drink or refuse before continuing.

"Greetings. Before we being I would like to make sure that we are one the same side. And not one shared with the corpse Emperor." Assuming that both nod she continues.

"You are both welcome aboard the Witch. But I will make one thing clear. SHE IS MY SHIP. Your advice is welcome, your hobbies welcome as long as they don't interfere with the running of my ship but if you cross me I will take actions. In this case to have you emoved from the Witch and abandoned in whatever part of the void or the immaterium we are in."

She smiles to take the sting out of the words. Having no fear in the face of the Angels of Death but wanting them to understand that they are welcome aboard for their valued experience and counsul, as long as the understand the rule of vessel. Her finger hovers over the teleportarium switch awaiting their answer, readying to beam them and most of her room into the void 22000km away should they give the wrong answer...

@ Chaotic sky & Grail:- Please don't be offended. Its just to have an in game reason why the marines don't arbitrarily kill the command crew and take over the ship....

Making quick, if not tedious, work of the piles of dead that litter the engineering decks Hadron begins the necessary prep to bring the Warp Engines back to full power. There were emitter rays to check, and power couplings that would need diverted. Not to mention ensuring the integrity of all the cabling that lined the walls where the firefight happened. Any damage to those systems would spell the doom of the ship.

While passing through the genetorium, he notices a servitor dragging the now limp and broken remains Enginseer Raif. Blurting in binary, "No, take him to my workshop. He just became part of my project." With the amount of augmentation that Raif had, he will be a perfect specimen for what he had in mind.

"Captain, we will be Warp capable soon. All preparations are underway."

"Captain, we will be Warp capable soon. All preparations are underway."

The Lady Captain reclining in her chair as she talks with the Astartes smiles happily. THe prospect of embracing their change in loyalty with the blood and fire a welcome thought.

"Thank you Master Collidus. It is welcome news. I trust you kept some of the misguided fools alive so that you could enjoy your hobbies. You know that I will let you have a crew person now and then but too many is poor for morale." Even over the vox the light hearted tone should be obvious- even to the demonic Enginseer.

If the engines run well and we catch our prey I think its safe to say you can have many new prey to play with. In fact; Master Enginseer, could you assemble a team to start looking at modifying some crew space into holding cells. Prisoners are a valuable commodity".

Just planting the seeds should we want to try and acquire a brig or a slave holding bay for useful trading :smallwink:

"Aye Captain, I'll see what I can get rigged up. I believe I have an idea for what you're looking for." Depositing his bounty of bodies and other raw materials in his shop, Hadron begins to make his way to one of the Cargo Holds, mind already whirring with thoughts of how to construct a prison of sorts.

With a flash of insight from the Ruinous Powers, he realizes that his experiments in his shop and the prisoner hold being constructed don't necessarily need to be separate endeavors....just extensions of the same project. If he could find a way to isolate the prisoner hold in it's own Gellar field....and then weaken that field to so the Warp bleeds through during Warp travel. Could be very interesting results to say the least.

Standing in the doorway of the Cargo Hold, he begins to map out the construction of the new prison in his mind's eye....compiling a list of necessary components during the process. It had promise...but it would take a number of parts and items that simply weren't found on the ship.

Captain, If I wanted you dead, you would have been dead a long time ago

Then seeing the Captains eyes narrow somewhat

My ... sponsers.. training focused on subtlety and playing well with others when necessary. I will of course comply. When interacting with Imperials I can act as honour guard.

where do you intend to go? Piracy is a start but we are capable of so much more.

The Lady Captain grins. "You are welcome aboard. Please know that I will well value the consoul of such a venerable and ancient warrior."

She smeiles slightly more evilly, "As for where. We hunt a warp trail of fools and dreamers. THeir ship and riches soon to be ours. After that... well we have many things to discuss."
