Animal Companion and Player Pounce

What are my options for a good animal companion, as well as having pounce as an ability for a character. There is a lion something class that gets it right off, if anyone can remember. And for the companion something other than druid is prefered. Thanks to everyone who's been so helpful will all my random postings :)

The Spirit Lion Totem Barbarian, either Complete Champion or Complete Adventurer. For the companion, the Wild Cohort Feat (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/re/20031118a) has your back.

Wizard/Incantrix (dunno race or role, but lots of persist spells, and able to metamagic other peoples spells)

Death Touched Aasimar Cloistered Cleric/Master of Shrouds/Comtemplative (undead and controller)

Fiendish Orc Half Ogre Melee

Ranger/Bow Iniate Dark Whisper Gnome

Large Dragon blooded Creature with Knight type character and huge hp (aka wall)

One is undecided
