Contingency Spell

So i cast this 6th level spell with another spell 1/3 my caster level a put some conditions on it. Lets say, if my hp reach 0 cast cure light wounds, now the spell lasts a duration of days, and if the terms are met, the spell gets triggered. My question is this, during those days are the 6th lvl and other spell slot used up? Because according to RAW i have cast both spells on the first day Could i have multiple Contingencies in place?

The slots would come back as usual, even if the duration of the contingency isn't up yet.

And you can never have multiple contingency spells at one time. The instant a 2nd one is cast, the 1st one is removed.


You can use only one contingency spell at a time; if a second is cast, the first one (if still active) is dispelled.
