I was wondering if there were any alternate class features for PhbII's Knight class. I really like certain parts of it (Bulwark Defense, Armor Mastery, Vigilant Defender), and don't care at all for others (most of Knight's Challenge). The flavor is great, and the code is fine; I just want to make the abilities I like worth the level investment.
Homebrew isn't an option for this game.

I'm unaware of any ACF's for the Knight. Maybe you could play a variant Paladin (one without spells for example) or a Crusader instead.

For ACF's see this link:

First no matter what as your DM, even if the rules agree with you your DM has final say.

What does this have to do with the OP? :smallconfused:

There are no official WotC alternate class features for the Knight.

I know that several Playergrounders (myself included) allow for free Tier 4 or lower gestalt in Tier 3+ games. Thus a party might consider of Druid 20, Cleric 5/Prestige Class 10/Prestige Class 5, Warblade 20, and Knight 20//Paladin 20. If a player doesn't like that alternative, I also just let them fill in or swap out dead and dead-ish levels with appropriate bonus Feats or class abilities.

Cityscape (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20070228a) will let you trade some skills, though.
