Garumsh

Confused, Garumsh appears suddenly in a strange room. He snorts, draws his enchanted blade, and walks up to one of the bizarre mirrors in the center of the room. He looks at his reflection, and inspects the mirror, and how his reflection is cast onto other mirrors within the space. Very unusual. He looks around, seeking reflections of his allies, or something that would explain his presence here.

Looking towards the center of the room he sees some1 else, and is confused as to why he wants to punch them in the face so badly.

Hitting the ground, Zable stumbles, but remains standing. He takes a second to gather his bearings.

Zable spawns at [roll0].
Rolls to follow will be placed in OOC.

Hearing Dascre cry out in the distance, he rushes in her direction. Seeing the being next to her, he mumbles, "Curses."

He smiles cruelly. "Aw, how I love the sound of the active indicative in the morning." He kneels and pounds his palms into the ground, and flames burst forth next to Dascre. They sear her assailant, and threaten more.

"Come and get me!"

Rolling with grace away from his origin point, he instively dives through a nearby mirror, seeing his ally being attacked. The magic of the mirror transports him behind his foe. He raises his left hand, and projects a searing beam of light. Unfortunately, the quick series of teleportations has him off balance and he misses his target.

Galinndan teleports in and is upset to hear the sounds of battle, he gingerly tiptoes towards his ally--pausing only to mutter some Elvish words into the air that cause the nearby dragonborn to stomp toward the bottom mirror in anger. "Despicable creatures" he says quietly to himself.

Hit: You slide the target up to 3 squares. The target is then dazed until the end of your next turn. If i hit him, slide him down to Q8.

Effect: The target makes a basic attack against a creature of your choice as a free action. The basic attack gains a +2 power bonus to the damage roll. I want him to attack the bottom mirror if i can slide him, or the mirror he's next to if i can't.

As Garumsh strikes the mirror, it sunders into a thousand shards of force while reflecting the brunt of his attack, scarring him with a burst of radiance. Though he withstands the onslaught of razor fragments, Zable is less fortunate. The shrapnel lays into his ally, triggering the curse laid upon Drums, which incinerates the human, dropping him. Unfortunately for Zable, his fiery punishment is met with a blast of thunder, sending agonizing shockwaves through the surprised halfling.


Garumsh strikes the mirror for 14 radiant and destroys it, triggering Mirror Detonation.


The mirror reflects 14 radiant damage back at Garumsh.


Mirror Detonation misses Zable and Garumsh, dealing 7 force damage to the former. The latter resists all damage due to Endurance training.


The damage to Zable triggers Hellish Rebuke dealing 11 fire damage to Drums.


Drums drops to -2 triggering Stormhawk's Vengeance, dealing 10 thunder damage to Zable.

Trumpet start his turn spawned at Q4, looking around he sees and injured enemy, and moves north into the mirror above hm to telport next to the foe.

"OH HAI DERE" trumpet grins, as he unleashes a mighty blow. Praying to the gods oh luck, his foe wishes to dodge, and he does.
"{Scrubbed}" shouts trumpet in a pure, almost child like, rage.
Trumpet decides to change tactics, and unleash a different mighty atk, instantly felling his foe. Still going on a tantrum, trumpet rushes and enemy just above him, delivering a mighty blow to him as well.
"HUEHUEHUE" laughes trumpet as he sees a laser fire across the room.

At Trumpet's triumphant display of violence, the spirits of this place seem to favour the barbarian, empowering him with savage vigour.

When Dascre falls, the mirrors about you all begin to rattle and hum. Suddenly the sphere south of Galinndan flares to life with blinding radiance, discharging a beam of scouring light that collides fruitlessly with the orb immediately to the east of an unconscious Drum.


Trumpet attacks Zable with Avalanche Strike and misses due to Second Chance.


Trumpet spends an AP and drops Zable with Blood Hunt Rage.


Swift Charge is triggered by Zable's drop, and he charges Dascre, hitting for 24 damage, dropping the cleric.


Trumpet gains the benefit of Killing Spree for dropping 2 enemies this turn.


Trumpet's double drop this turn triggers the Ray of Ruin which arcs from Mirror 9 to Mirror 4 at random to no effect, lacking targets. No one is close enough to Mirror 4 to use Redirect Ray.

Theren teleports in and Immediately looks for an opponent. She sees Shadow and begins to make slices in the air with her dagger. Fire drips from the invisible cuts in space and she uses her free hand to shape it into searing orbs before throwing them at Shadow.

1. Move down to D5
2.Make first attack against Shadow, triggering elemental escalation. Miss
3. Spend AP, Gaining a +2 bonus to all defenses from Hero's Armor property
4.Make second attack. Hit with a 25 versus reflex and deal 21 fire damage to shadow. Use hit to trigger Infectious Incendiary Dagger to give Shadow 5 ongoing Fire damage (save ends)

Drums find himself in awe, that he his unharmed after the sever injuries he suffered.
"Well, aint this covienent"
seeing an ally in need of assitance, he inspires them to heal off a small amount of injury.
"Shrug it off bro, its gonna be a long day"
still remembering the injuries he just suffered, he charges a nearby enemy thats already injured.
"Welcome to the corner of Pay and Back!! AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH"
with a clean atk to the gut, Drums downs Shadow
"And the beat goes on!"

Shadow

Falling to the ground, Shadow's eyes close. However, when he hits the floor, he suddenly feels stronger, and he has reappeared where he first appeared in this bizarre room. Again, he leaps through the nearest mirror, emerging from another orb on the other side of the room close to where he fell, keeping away from the brute that slayed him. Placing his hand against the mirror, he smacks the ground thrice with his staff, funneling the thundering sound that resonates off the walls through the mirror and into three of his foes, trying to force them to stumble away in pain.

Minor Action: Stoneskin Robe Power-You gain 5 temporary hit points until the end of the encounter.

Galinndan teleports in indignantly and casts a cruel stare around, nobody immediately draws his attention. He finally sees the top of Zable's head and laughs mockingly as he uses his orb and Elven magic to trick Zable into running in anger towards the mirror at the center of the room. "They should not have sent children to face down wizards and dwarves," he says as he gives Zable the command to attack.

Bewitched with an irresistible, self-destructive impulse, Zable rushes to the centre of the room and unleashes a point blank blast of violet energy against the mirror beside him. Instantly, the spear of eldritch power bounds back into the halfling's face before the reflective sphere ruptures into a violent spray of glowing blue force shards that ravage the warlock and scatter across the floor.


Eldritch Blast, autohits mirror 4.
Damage: [roll0] (+2 power bonus from Charm of Misplaced Wrath)


The mirror reflects the damage back at Zable, hitting him for 17 untyped.


Zable takes 7 force damage from Mirror Detonation (see OOC).

Trumpet starts his turn slighty more relaxed after his rampage in his previous turn
"Hey, where'd they party go?"
seeing someone off in the distance alone, trumpet decides to use the mirrors and teleport, bringing the part to them.
"hey bro, lets have a ball!"
after failing to shove the mirror into dascre, trumpets tantrum slightly returns, raging him into another charge that takes a hefty chunk outta dascre.

1.start turn at I5, avalance strike eff ends
2. moves 2 squares to the left, using the mirror to teleport to L12
3. uses minor to slide mirror right 1 square, then down right 1 square. pushing the mirror into dascre.
4. mirror impact misses dascre, giving him a free shift
5. used howling strike to charge, doing a total of 20 dmg to dascre

Theren steps into the mirror and emerges behind her ally. She immediately begins cutting gashes into the elemental chaos and drawing from the flames that bleed out. She hurls a ball of these flames at Dascre which downs her.

Shaking his scaled head, looks around. He ROARs loudly, before stomping over to. A nearby mirror, channelling his rage into the reflective orb. Shoving his arm into its surface he strikes out with his blade, before grumbling the iconic sound that gave him his name. GARUMSH! Freezing cold bursts from his mouth, enveloping the mirror and lambasting those on the other side.

Now accustom to the portal placement, Dascre turns her eyes to the brute across the room. Taking a few steps forward, she looses another arrow, confident her arrow will fly true. Seeing Zable amidst the shattered glass, she calls out to him, renewing his energy.

Lifting his heavy shield to block the blinding light that erupts towards him, he shifts his stance and rotates the mirror in front if him to reflect the searing energy.


Target: Mirror 3 (I14)
Hit: The target dies. This does not destroy mirror targets.
Miss: 15 fire and radiant damage. A target dropped to 0 HP or fewer from this damage dies. The target falls prone. This proning cannot be negated.
Acrobatics Training: On a miss, the target takes no damage, can shift 1 square as a free action, and choose not to fall prone.

Shadow's staff catches the adjacent mirror in its arc, the impact of the blow heralding a sprawling web of jagged cracks out from its epicentre, glass rippling like a crystalline sea whilst the monk reels from the reflected kinesis of his own weapon. Then, without warning, the sphere spontaneously detonates, casting another spray of shards everywhere, dousing the drow and his opponent in a sea of razor death. The shock of the explosion in turn destructs another other sphere nearby as the blastwave shatters it, calling up a deadly maelstrom of tinkling edged fragments.

The mayhem only reaches its crescendo however when the room again shudders and thrums. Another pulse of blinding energy erupts from the orb west of Zable, its form made incandescent with power. Thinking fast, Garumsh reorients an adjacent sphere the beam slams into. Thus redirected, annihilating radiance screams towards Theren and Trumpet, sailing harmlessly over the floored latter while enveloping the half-elf, obliterating her completely, leaving no remnants of the once sorceress.


Shadow's Five Storms destroys the adjacent mirror, causing it to detonate, dealing 15 damage/proning Drums, and 7 damage to Shadow, while destroying Mirror 3. Shadow takes 13 untyped damage from destroying Mirror 3.


Mirror 3 detonates, targeting nothing, but triggering the Ray of Ruin with its destruction as it is the second mirror destroyed this turn.


Ray of Ruin randomly fires from (the new) Mirror 2 to Mirror 6.


Garumsh uses Redirect Ray as an Opportunity Action to have Mirror 6 target Mirror 3 with Ray of Ruin.


This Ray of Ruin ignores Trumpet as he's prone, but hits Theren, disintegrating her instantly. Score 1 frag for Team 1.

gal starts his turn seemingly trapped, but thro clever startegy and luck, he decides to go for broke and create a blood bath.
using s move, he uses the spawn pad hes standing on to teleport to spawn point 5. afterwards continuing his move thro a nearby mirror, and teleporting to L5. Gal then hypnotises zable into a dangerous position, and action points into arcane whirlind, hoping for carnage. humilating himself, he ends up in the mirror realm, but not quick enough to miss zable enjoy mirrors shards to the eyelid.bored whith the remaining time, he uses his minor to create a middle finger over zable's corpse.

trumpet starts is turn t spawn point 1, but but seeing garu almost down for the count, the bloodlust was too much to resist. garu was charged and ate the full force of trumpets atk in one mighty hit getting killed.
"DEMACIA!!!!!!!!!!!! oh wait wrong game XD"
thirsting for more blood, trumpet charges dascre once again using mirrors to close the distance. dacre took the hit fairly well, but still felt the impact. unfortuately for dascre trumpet wasnt done yet, unleashing another mighty blow, out right killing the elf.
"why is it always an elf?"
trupet used a minor to second wind off his wounds b4 ending his turn

1. respawned at b4
2. charged garu by moving 2 squares down, into the mirror, porting to m10 an then finishing his charge
3. scored a crit, killing garu
4. triggered swift charge, charging into the mirror he came through, then porting to D5 to finish the charge
5. AP to avalance strike, killing dascre

Garumsh

Suddenly finding himself whole again, he can see his corpse split in twain before it fades away. Looking for blood, he charges through the shattered glass and leaps through a mirror, appearing on the other side of the room behind his slayer. Swinging his mighty blade, he completely misses, but some of the magical energy from his rage does deal some damage.

This is going to be one hell of a whopper.

Galinndan's Turn:

Trapped between the wall and a sea of shards, Galinndan moves back into the teleport pad he spawned on, rematerializing to the far southwest of the arena. Sprinting forward, he again seizes Zable's mind causing the halfling to lurch adjacent to his Dragonborne companion. With his targets bunched, the wizard invokes a terrible storm of raw arcane energies, striking both foes, while detonating a mirror caught within its scourging winds. Unfortunately for Galinndan, his attack invokes the wrath of the hall, shunting him briefly to the Mirror Realm before he is cast out by the erupting sphere he destroyed, dazed and nearly downed between the backlash of arcane energies and soul scouring return from his ephemeral banishment.

The final result is a horrific blitz of slicing shards and screaming zephyrs, downing Zable, riddling Garumsh with glinting shrapnel, whilst Trumpet is literally torn to bloody shreds by two waves of force and glass, each no bigger than a man's fist.

Another sizzling ray is cast across the room upon the second mirror's destruction, but proves too far from the action to cause anyone harm.


Trumpet's Turn:

Always eager to return to the killing, Trumpet promptly reforms in the southeast. Like Galinndan he finds himself trapped much to his chagrin, choosing to trust in the teleport pad to ferry him to glory. Fortunately his prayers are granted as he reappears in the northwest close to Dascre - and a still intact mirror. Spotting his opportunity, he rushes through, charging Garumsh, the fall of his axe cleaving the Dragonborne, plate armor and all, in two, leaving behind a thoroughly bloody mess.

His thirst for blood merely whetted, Trumpet doubles back, bellowing like the psychopathic maniac he is as he runs down Dascre. The cleric is quickly eviscerated with two rabid strokes of the barbarian's gouge upon the latter's emergence from the adjacent mirror, lower torso cleaved to the spine, spilling out gruesome viscera.

Another flash of deadly light brightens the room, as if in punctuation of the slaughter, but with none to menace, a blazing ray strikes harmlessly between two mirrors in the southwest.


Theren's Turn:

Enraged by Garumsh's clever use of the mirrors against her, Theren returns eager for vengeance, obtaining it when a blast of fiery death scalds Shadow and drops him to the ground where he lays smoking and poised on the brink of death.

Summary of Gal's Turn:


Gal respawns at Telepad 4.


Gal enters Telepad 4 and teleports to Telepad 5. He then moves to L5.


Gal attacks Zable with Hypnotism, hitting the halfling and sliding him to P12


Gal spends an Action Point and uses his daily, Arcane Whirlwind, triggering Zable's Second Chance.


Gal rolls a natural 1 on the reroll, triggering humiliation and is teleported to the Mirror Realm.


Gal misses Garumsh and Zable, hitting each for 7 damage. He destroys the mirror which misses Garumsh and hits Zable, Trumpet and a second mirror for 15.


When the mirror is promptly destroyed by Gal's damage, he takes 15 reflected untyped damage and rematerializes in its burst, taking another 10 psychic and necrotic damage and getting dazed EoNT.


The first mirror destroys the second mirror which hits Zable, Garumsh and Trumpet for 15, killing Trumpet and triggering a RoR which does nothing.



Summary of Trumpet's Turn:


Trumpet respawns at Telepad 6.


Trumpet moves onto Telepad 6 and randomly teleports to Telepad 1. He charges Garumsh by teleporting through the mirrors, taking 5 damage from the Zone of Shards and getting slowed EoNT.


Trumpet deals 31+ damage to Garumsh, killing him, and triggering Swift Charge.


Trumpet charges Dascre by teleporting through the mirrors, hitting him once with Howling Strike for 24 damage.


Trumpet spends an AP, attacking and hitting Dascre again with Avalanche Strike for 31 damage, killing him and triggering Killing Spree, causing him to regain his AP.

She looks at dazed Eladrin, then to Zable, and back again. "They just don't get it, do they?" She nocks an arrow, aiming for Galinndan.

Reappearing a short distance away, Zable scowls at his ill fortune. He slips off the teleporter and focuses, flames burning his wounds closed. Looking for a target, he sees only the eladrin lying on the ground. "Curses. The Depths have no use for you."

Theren strides defiantly through the shard zone and fixes her sights on Shadow, with a grunt of effort and a flourish, she launches a searing fireball at him that ignites him like a leaf. The effort makes her similar shot against Garumsh fly wide, leaving him unburned, at least for now.

As Theren's brutal attack subsides, just scarcely failing to down Shadow, giant motes of radiance emanate from several of the raised platforms throughout the room before dimming to form new mirrored orbs. Unfortunately for Dascre, he is caught within one of them and obliterated, his form disintegrating instantly into the re-materializing sphere.

Clearing his mind, Garumsh calls out to his ally, "Get back up, let's him them again. We have magic of our own we can use!" He channels his arcane power into his blade, swipping it through the air, sliding the Drow through a mirror and out another, placing him between the enemy casters. Not happy to end there, he takes his glowing blade, rests it against the curved mirror, and with his mind he warps a second image of the dagger wielding magic user into view on the reflective orb.

With eyes glazed like tiny orbs that fill the room, Garumsh uses the magic of the mirror to puppet the half-elf across the room. He forces the fiery dagger against the mirror, causing a spear of fire to erupt around it, streaking off towards the nearby human. With a sadistic smile, Garumsh forces the sorcereress to speak in an eerie voice, "Hello sister, are you ready do die? I would so love to take your place! as she side steps next to another mirror, the double reflection adding to the bizarre nature of her existence.

trumpet, seeing dascre off in the distance, feels the need for another warriors head charging dascre as well, but stumbles again and misses.

Drums repawns next to shadow, but has no interest in him. instead wishing to finish wat he started. drums uses a nearby mirror to get right back in dascre's face. after inviking the fury of trumpet, drums himself is feeling inspired tho rage, and unleashes his mightiest attack with everything he has on dascre's misreable soul.

Theren spawns in and immediately focuses her attention on the two remaining members of the team. "I've had enough of dying" she says before stepping through the mirror.

She emerges in the midst of the final seconds of battle and immediately begins preparing her most powerful attack. With perfect technique, she sends two white-hot bolts of arcane fire towards Garumsh and Zable. Garumsh is immediately consumed by the flames while Zable merely falls to the ground.

"Who's the weakest link now, halfling?" Theren asks before casting the final fire bolt of the game.

1. spawn at position E16, use move action to move to the mirror three squares away and teleport to N6
2. Use Minor Actiion to use Knack for success, Granting myself a +2 bonus to the next attack roll i make before the end of my next turn.
3.Use Standard Action to attack Garumsh with Elemental Bolt, using Elemental Escalation to make Zable a target of the power as well.

The hall rumbles at the sight of Theren's proud massacre before a lance of scalding light fires between two of the northern mirrors, as though to punctuate her triumph.

When the dust settles, the blood has been spilt, and the bodies of the vanquished lie still, sprawled out amongst their own stinking viscera, the razor mirror shards and the cold, crystalline reflection of the floor, only one team stands alive and victorious:

Team Two.

Suddenly, the mirrored spheres begin to glow and waver, melting into a tide of fluid radiance that soon coalesces to form a magnificent silhouette within the centre of the room. Within terse moments, this grand luminescence dulls, revealing a beautiful, tri-handled golden trophy, commendation of the gods, proudly emblazoned with the words 'You're Winner'.
