I have been looking over the summoner and two archetypes in particular have caught my eye, the First Worlder (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/summoner/archetypes/paizo---summoner-archetypes/first-worlder) and the Master Summoner (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/summoner/archetypes/paizo---summoner-archetypes/master-summoner). Now I understand that by the rules these two archetypes can not be combined because they both change the Eidolon and Summon Monster abilities of the Summoner but it seems to me that balance-wise it should be no problem with a little houserule.

The First World archetype changes the the Summon Monster list to the Summon Nature's Ally list and changes the Eidolon from an outsider to a fey.

The Master Summoner archetype increases the number of Summon SLAs per day and lifts some of the usage restrictions but in turn reduces the power of your Eidolon in half. Master Summoner also gives you Augement Summoning for free but as this is traded for Bond Senses and First Worlder doesn't give this up, I will ignore it.

It would seem to me that it would be fair and balanced to combine the two and be left with a summoner that had the following.

A Fey Eidolon thats power is based on half the summoners level.
Summon Nature's Ally SLAs 5+CHA mod per day that can be summoned at the same time as the Eidolon.

I feel that although you are adopting two archetypes that replace the same features, there are inherent pros and cons to each that make this a working combo.

What does the playground think?

This is one of the cases where technically conflicting archetypes can be easily reconciled. Overall, you will end up weaker than a normal master summoner (fay eidolon isn't that great, SNA is nice at some levels but I believe SM wins over-all), so I see no reason not to allow it.
