The electric mouse gives the Oshawott a curious look. We are Pokemon! We can all understand one another, he explains, not sure why the water-type is asking such a question. The friends I use in battle are other Pokemon; they fight with me against duel monsters when the occasion arises. The voice and music exist as an interface between pokeduelists and their opponents; they describe my actions in terms humans can understand, as they do not speak Pokemon.

"This mirror represents my loyalty to them, which shall not waver for as long as I live. I know nothing of these 'Pokémon' you speak of."

OOC: As I said, Splash has been lied to; the Gishki (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Gishki#Story) (they're 'evil') were actually trying to drown him before he hatched; they only raised him since they saw his underwater hatching as an omen.

I am a Pikachu, an electric type pokemon descended from Raichus. The yellow rodent doesn't seem to understand Splash's confusion.

OOC: Basically put, Splash's egg was taken, via a space-time rift, from the Pokémon world to the Shadow Realm. Thus, he never learned of what he truly is, having spent a good deal of his life in the Shadow Realm and all. Is that still confusing? I'm not sure how else to put it.

[I can try to give you some deck advice, if you like. First thing I notice, is that you committed yourself to your archetype fully, when there are some great non-Gishki cards that can really improve consistency. For starters, I recommend finding monster space for 3x Deep Sea Diva and 1 or 2x Reese, the Ice Mistress. What this does is open up the wide world of synchro summons to you, as well as providing instant Gachi Gachi Gantetsu for stalls and the ability to search Gishki Vision to the field. What you can do with this combo that's lots of fun with a level 4 Giski on the field is summon Diva, get Vision, tune for Red Dragon Archfiend, Salvage Diva and Vision, use Vision for his search power and summon Diva next turn to get out Reese, tuning to Red Dragon Archfiend for a two-turn Red Nova Dragon. Another way to do this is to get Reese on the field, use her effect to keep her alive for a turn, and then Ritual Summon a level 6 Evigishki and normal summon Diva, giving you a one-turn Red Nova Dragon.

I like the attention paid to defensive traps, but you might consider some opposite advice in this section; while your monsters are entirely dedicated to Gishki, you've no Gishki traps, some of which are quite decent. You can probably get away with only two Mystical Space Typhoons, if you need a place to start making room.

I get to add a Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Spirit to my hand from my deck. I then Synchro Summon my two monsters, to summon Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Horse Prince! Horse Prince's effect allows me to special summon a Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Hawk from my deck. I then activate Fire Formation - Tensu, allowing me another Normal Summon. I normal summon Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Bear to the field. Tensu gives all three of my monsters 100 attack, and Hawk gives them 500 attack and defense. I guess you forgot what I used Bear's effect for last turn. When Tragoedia attacks him, I activate Fire Formation - Tensen. Tensen gives Bear a total of 1000 extra attack; 300 continuous and 700 just for the turn. He destroys Tragoedia and deals battle damage, which allows me to set another Fire Formation - Tensen from my deck by Bear's effect. Anything else to do on your turn?

Alright, let's see if I can't get rid of my own Horse Prince...

I normal summon Brotherhood of the Fire Fist - Spirit from my hand, who special summons Chicken from my graveyard. Chicken adds a Gorilla from my deck to my hand, and I normal summon Gorilla with my free summon from Tensu. I overlay Chicken and Spirit to summon Lion Emperor; I use his effect to return Spirit to my hand. Because of the 400 attack's worth of power ups I get from my Fire Formations, Lion Emperor can destroy Horse Prince, and then my Gorilla and Bear go direct. Bear's effect sets a Fire Formation - Tenki (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Fire_Formation_-_Tenki) from my deck.
