So there is a Druid/Wizard hybrid in our new campaign (I think hes PrCing into Arcane Heirophant or something). We know the guy playing him, and he has a tendency to try and turn on the party at the most in opprotune times, and is kind of narcisistic, as any "slight" against him whether intentional, accidental or even him imagining it will make him want SOMEONE dead. So if worse comes to worst, what would be a good way for a Cleric and a Rogue to bring down this Druid/Wizard/(arcane heirphant?) without us, you know, dieing.

Also, the cleric is going for a slightly more melee oriented build instead of heavy casting.

The Rogue should have UMD and a Wand of Ray of Stupidity to outright disable the animal companion in one shot. Hopefully he's a Whisper Gnome with Silencing Strike, but this isn't a perfect world. The Cleric can just cast Silence if worst comes to worst, and hopefully the Druid won't be high enough level in his build to have Wild Shape. The Rogue get a Dorje of Ego Whip as well if using magic/psiconic transparency, to hopefully disable the Druid in only a few rounds.

If he's already a Druid 3/ Wizard 3/ Mystic Theurge 2/ Arcane Heirophant 2+ he'll have Wild Shape, but the Cleric could just Righteous Might and hopefully has DMM: Persistent Divine Power and he'll be a match in melee. He should be using (Lesser Rod of Extended) Slow Poison on himself every day just in case, as the strongest form until Arcane Heirophant 5 is a Fleshraker dinosaur. The Cleric could actually have Church Inquisitor 6 by then, in which case the Druid is completely screwed if he keeps Silence prepared.

Have the rogue kill him in his sleep before he has a chance to betray you. Darkstalker and a sufficient hide/move silently score will prevent the animal companion from seeing it happen.
