Hey Guys,

I have started a new campaign with some friends and we are all using stand in mini's until we can find appropriate ones for our characters but I'm running into a problem.

Where the hell do I find a Urumi wielding human male Magus model? Neutral evil too, which to me screams billowy cloaks and hoods.

Now as I'm not affraid to convert models, I already figured out where to get a Urumi from. Basically I stole the whip/bladed chain off of a Warmachine Cryx Stygis raider. I just can't find any good hooded human figures anywhere.

Anyone have any suggestions? I really don't want to have to heavily convert something.... Though I might just end up humanizing the Magus model from paizo if I have to :(.

I've used Beholder the Bargains (http://www.beholderthebargains.com/servlet/StoreFront) a few times and been very pleased.

I think the human wanderer (http://www.beholderthebargains.com/servlet/the-1198/Human-Wanderer-Harbinger-Dungeons/Detail) sort of looks like something you could work with.

In my experience (and I have quite a lot of minis, both WotC and others), it's virtually impossible to find a mini that looks exactly like a given chaarcter - my advice is to find a "near enough" mini and fill out the details with your imagination. :smallwink:

alternatively, with enough moxie, you can buy a mini that fits the right look, then buy another one with the right weapons (or even better, some companies sell weapons packs, like Reaper.) then cut off the wrong stuff, and glue on the right bits. some of my coolest minis are made from parts of other minis.
