It (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/cleric/archetypes/paizo---cleric-archetypes/evangelist) looks like an intresting archetype. Trade medium armor, shields, some of your channel energy (meh) 1 domain (ouch, Not as big a hit for some gods with options for good domains) for Bardic Performance (only the useful abilities though) and trades the spontaneous healing you will only ever use before bed (if that) for some spells... that all but one of are mind-effecting (Tongues isn't).
You would think this would make you more MAD and eat at your precious 2+int skill points, but you don't have anything that actually require a perform check (except Countersong, but you can't use it with Oratory for some reason) and your Charisma only gives you a few extra rounds of performance a day. You can be the worst speech giver EVER and still work.
So how do you boost this without just being a Bard wannabe over a Cleric?
All I can think of are Harmonic Spell (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/harmonic-spell) can be used to help with your lower charisma (thanks to not being charisma focused), because non-battle cleric is going to be casting a spell pretty much every round of fight (more so than a Bard) and Battle Cleric will still cast a lot. Also oddly has no cantrip/orison exception, so you can use a standard action every 6 seconds to keep your performance up forever outside of combat and Lingering Performance (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/lingering-performance) doesn't need an explanation.
