E6 Magic Items: How?

Alright, I am starting an E6 campaign today and I was wondering how people were able to create level 8 magic items? I know I have seen it somewhere that you could but I am still new to E6 and have forgotten.

The Artificer class feature Item Creation lets them threat their effective caster level for the purpose of creating items as their Artificer class level +2, so at 6th level, you can make 8th level items.

If you want to go further into it there are ways of boosting casting level and such to create even higher level items. Some are puritans and stick to caster level 6, end of story. But i like the idea of there being 'artifacts' out there that surpass the limits of mortals and the less talented : )
