I'm looking for ways to basically have max or at least a very high mod on all skills. Or at the very least all profession skills.

So far I've found bardic knack, the factorum's inspiration ability, and the Master's "jack of all trades".

Do you guys know anyway to make a character who can "do it all" she can sail a ship, drive a cart, brew drinks, cook your dinner, clean the house, and still beat up that orc that just tried to run off with the master.

Basically I'm trying to make a character who is submissive, but is basically the most useful and badass ninja maid to ever exist. If it wasn't for the fact that she has loyalty and kindness, she'd probably be the one in charge.

However they all have their flaws. Bards give spells, which I don't totally like, I kinda want her to be a mundane maid. And the factorum's inspiration only works with things I have at least 1 rank in, and I don't feel like blowing one rank on every profession skill (dammit why didn't it say "trained" that way I could've taken jack of all trades feat).

So any ideas people?

Marshals can add their Charisma to skill checks with their auras.

If your goal is a skill oriented mundane character, I'd say go with Rogue or Factotum into Exemplar from CAdv. As VGLordR2 points out, Marshal is a good dip for the Charisma to skills.

An urban Scout might also be useful. Take some of the acfs from Cityscape like Go to Ground (you never track mud into the house), Hidden Stalker (a stealthy maid is always around). Dungeon Specialist from Dungeonscape also provides a climb speed in place of Fast Movement and Evasion, to get to all those hard to reach places.

1.) Ask your DM for a homebrew feat that has Jack of All Trades as a prerequisite, and gives you a virtual rank in all skills, enough for you to use Cunning Inspiration.

2.) Actually put a rank into the skills you intend to use. Unless you want weird skills like Iaijutsu or Truenaming, or ranks in all possible Profession skills...

Well I don't need truenaming that's for sure. Ranks in all possible profession skills was pretty much my plan, but I think I might have a work around.

The "master" from dragonlance lets you swap ranks at a 2 to 1 ratio, it cites as an innkeeper with 10 ranks making another check as if they had 5 ranks, so if I combine that with factorum...

I can get the knack at 1st level, so it's only a level dip.

I'm thinking Master 1/Battledancer 1/Marshal (motivate wisdom) 1/Factorum 17

Of course it makes me pretty dependant on all 3 mental skills, but I rolled REALLY good for her stats (18,17,16,15,15,14)

Edit: CRAP Factorums get spells! I didn't want that!

You may want her to take the Item Familiar feat. Also, take a look at Nymph's Kiss; +2 to all Charisma skills, and a bonus skill point per level. There is also the Wild racial variant, which gives a bonus skill point per level as well.

You could also make her a Buomman. They are unable to cast spells, thus allowing you to take Factotum or Bard.

You do know that if you want to be mundane with a partial caster, it's quite easy to say "well, I'm just not going to cast spells, even though the class says I can". And honestly, in dnd 3.5, if you can't cast spells, you simply can't "do it all". No, not even then.

Actually, for the "prepare a spellbook" thing, Factotum5/Chameleon10 would be awesome for it (because you can't really prepare a Spellbook without spellcasting :smalltongue:). You could go for the 8th level of Factotum if Cunning Surge is important to you. Dip in Swordsage (Or Warblade for Iron. Heart. Surge!). Before you hit Double Focus, prepare nothing but Guidance of the Avatar, and knock skill checks out of the park. Your first level slots will all contain Weildskill (http://dndtools.eu/spells/magic-of-faerun--20/wieldskill--1645/), the language of which might be enough to trigger Cunning Knowledge.

Obligatory Swordsage/Warblade dip, Iaijutsu Focus optimization, custom item blah blah blah best class ever blah blah blah.

You need unarmed strike and lots of ranks in jump and tumble(And probably the Tiger Claw maneuver for +10 feet to every jump), so you can pull off the Sayukopter.

Okay maybe "make a spellbook" was a poor choice of words. I'll go change that, cause when I said "make a spellbook" I meant that LITERALLY as in she is trained in bookbinding.
