I just have a simple question. What kind of bonus would you give to a spellcaster with an animated stuffed unicorn for a familiar?

Possibly none, on the reasoning that weird things (as you might get from Improved Familiar) don't grant familiar bonuses. Though that's really because of the stats for the familiar itself, and Animated Objects are pretty weak.

Otherwise, probably +3 HP like a toad or +2 Fortitude like a rat.

I'd treat it as a modified homunculus, as granted by Improved Familiar. No particular bonuses *shrug*
