Other than "just ignoring them", which is a perfectly honorable solution in most such cases, how do you deal with the alignment restrictions of non-core classes?

For the four classes in the PHB which required a particular alignment (not counting the Cleric, since he's free to choose no deity and be true neutral to avoid the entire alignment mess), the consequences of changing out of a required alignment were neatly explained. Paladins must stay LG at all times or lose all their powers. Monks who cease to be Lawful or Bards who become so retain all their current abilities from the class, they simply cannot advance them further. Barbarians split the difference; if they become Lawful they can no longer Rage, but retain all their other class features.

But classes in other supplements often don't specify what happens. Take for example the Warlock. He must be evil or chaotic, yet there's no specified consequence for him becoming TN or LN or NG or even LG. Likewise, the Dread Necromancer doesn't seem to have any consequences listed for becoming Good. And prestige classes that have an alignment prerequisite for entry almost never specify a consequence (though I would assume advancing in them is not possible if you cannot meet the prerequisite at the time you advance). So do you ever lose access to the abilities of those PrCs as a result of alignment changes?
