Two Three things about this class are not clear to me.

1. The number of spells that the Factotum can "fake" in the course of a day is the number indicated after "Arcane Dilletante" in the Special column of the table? So at level 2 and 3 he prepares only one spell, which may be a cantrip at level 2 and that or a 1st-level spell at level 3? At level 4, he can prepare 2 spells, only one of which may be his max level? Then at level 7, he gets one 2nd-level spell and two 1st-level or lower spells? At level 8, he gets one 3rd and two 2nds? And so on up until Factotum 20, where he gets one 7th-level spell and seven 6th-level ones?

2. It says that the factotum can cast spells in any kind of armor because he casts them "as if they were spell-like abilities". Then it later says "you must otherwise provide any material component required for the spell". Spell-like abilities generally don't require material components, though?

3. Also just to check, when it says "your caster level is equal to your levels in this class", it does mean your Factotum level, yes? It seems an odd way to write it.

1. Sounds like you got the hang of the spells available.
2. They do that so that Factotums can't abuse spells that have an expensive materials components.
3. Though there are a few classes that grant SLAs, many times the ability is usually associated with Monster classes, where the SLAs are keyed off of the creatures HD.

1. The number of spells that the Factotum can "fake" in the course of a day...

You've got it almost right. They can cast only one spell per day of their highest level. The rest can be any other level. In other words, at 20th, they can cast one 7th level spell per day. And the rest can be of any level 0 - 6.

Also, they can only use any given spell once per day.

But other than that, you got it.
