This is basically a refluffed build of a Dire House Cat, but I wanted to make sure the build is right. This came from D&D Wiki, and I just don't trust that website, but I don't have any materials that give rules for Dire templates.

There is no official dire template.

There was a guy around here who 'averaged' the dire changes into a template but he's banned now, like so many others.

Does it have Spikes?
If yes > Then it is "dire".
If no > add Spikes.

I hate spikes on dire creatures. It used to be called a cave bear, or a smilodon. They are just prehistoric versions, and require no spikes! I swear eternal vengeance on WoTC, and all the feeble simpletons who needlessly encrust dire animals with spikes! wolde ye swynke me thilke wys? . . . Magna Mater! Magna Mater! . . . Atys . . .
